Dr. Philip Marvin Furr, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Philip Furr for over 5 years. He was put out by the fact that I questioned the price of contact lenses that he ordered for me. They have always been one price and the new price was doubled. Melissa, his admin was very rude when I asked to speak with him regarding the price. Dr. Furr called me back and ended up yelling at me and telling me he no longer wanted me to be his patient and that he was having a bad day and it was best that we part ways and that I was wasting his time. I have never been treated like this or disrespected by a supposed professional doctor.

Dr. Furr is an excellent ophthalmologist. Not only is he knowledgeable about the treatment of eye problems, but he is very knowledgeable about other health conditions. He explained my heart disease much better than the cardiologist. He is definitely a people person and when you go visit him it is like visiting an old friend. He takes great care of his patients and spends much time with them. I can't say enough of good things about him.

Extremely professional and up to date on the state of the art of medicine. His fees for services are so reasonably priced that there's no reason to go to optometrists or opticians, when you can visit with an M.D.
