Dr. Philip P Garrett, MD

I went to Dr. Garrett because my brother went to him and he seem to be very good st healing my brother. So I went to him because I had fungus on my one toenail and over the counter things did not work. Dr. Garrett told me the only way to get rid of it is to cut off the nail, which he did. When he was done, he said, my toenail would not grow back. He did not tell me that before he did it.. I asked him about how to get rid of the fungus on another toe on my other foot, how do I get rid of it?), Dr. Garrett shrugged his shoulders and said I don't know. I thought right away, "Your the podiatrist, not me, what do you mean you don't know?) I never went back to him again. To make matters worse, my Sister went to see him and the nurse asked her to remove her shoes and that my Sister should be seated in the chair and when she got off the table to seat in the chair, she fell because they had recently waxed the floor. She hurt hurt her back and the nurse did not even go in to see if she was ok… because it made s lot of noise when she fell. She told Dr. Garrett and he told her to tell the front desk when she left and they would take care of it. They told her that the Dr. Would call her and get the details for the insurance report. My Sister waited for 2 days and when she did not hear from him she called the doctors office twice ( 2 days in a roll), they told her they gave Dr. Garrett the message. This happened about 7 or 8 years ago and my Sister since has passed away but she never heard from Dr. Garrett. In addition I have a nephew who lost several toes due to Dr. Garrett's carelessness. I also have a Brother who lost part of his one leg and he had a call us on his toe on his other foot which would not go away with OTC remedies & went to Dr. Garrett. Dr. Garrett cut the callus off knowing all the problems with his leg in which was partially amputated and caused infection in the toe. My Brother had to go to the specialist that he saw about his leg. The specialist said, Dr. Garrett should have known you do not cut on a person that had amputation and vascular problems. Does anyone see a common denominator here like we have? None of us are ever going back to Dr. Garrett. I cannot even give a correct rating because they only give you 5 stars and you have to give at least one which he does not deserve.
