Incredible surgeon and very compassionate. He spent time with me to explain the procedure the recovery time and actually came to my 1st PT appointment! I am pain free and am so thankful for his incredible skills and even more thankful fir how he cared for me as a person and not just another hand

Dr. Heyman was friendly, informative, and clearly expert in his abilities. I was happy with the care I received pre-surgery and post by his whole team including the wonderful nurses. Any questions I had were answered and the results of the surgery are great!

I came in for a 4th metacarpal fracture. I pointed out a abnormality in the X-ray in my wrist and it was then discovered that I also suffered a radial styloid fracture too. I was splinted and sent home. I called the office 3 days later asking for pain medication and was told this was the LAST RX they would write for me. My hand and wrist are back and blue and very painful with two broken bones, but this office does not like to write prescriptions for pain. So my review is not that favorable due to the fact that I need to suck it up and deal with the pain. No other alternatives were given to deal with the pain. I take ibuprofen to the maximum does and the pain is still at an 8 on the pain scale. I will finish my treatment at this facility but will not recommend

I loved Dr. Heyman and his staff. They took great care of me and were so kind. If I ever need hand or wrist surgery again, they are where I am going.

I was referred to Dr Heyman by another orthopedist. His office was easy to find but parking can be challenging. He quickly diagnosed my problem and gave me the option of an injection or a quick out-patient procedure. I chose the cortisone injection and my hand is much better today. Time will tell if I need to choose the procedure. It was good to have options.

My son is a high spinal cord injury with finger contractures. He took his time explaining the of care. Immediately familiar with my son’s situation.

I went to Dr. Heyman because I injured my hand a week prior and it was still in a great deal of pain. I brought x-ray from urgent care. Heyman took splint off pinky and when he attempted to touch finger I flinched and Heyman became angry and impatient. Reviewed x-ray and said I just had a sprain. He then accused me of seeing him because I wanted a letter to my employer written so I could get out of going to work and he refused to write one. I told him I just wanted to know what was wrong with my hand because I am a grocery store cashier and could barely do my job and wanted to make sure the finger was not fractured. He removed splint put on at urgent care and told me the hand would be fine and I can continue working. He was arrogant, dismissive, impatient, condescending and accusatory. Absolutely worse doctor visit ever. I saw two more hand docs after Heyman, both of whom said my finger was indeed fractured and showed me the fracture on the x-ray. Heyman's care was borderline… negligence, esp, considering the type of work I do. Just horrible experience and I see other patients' reviews are similar to mine regarding Heyman's manner and treatment of patients.
