Dr. Philip Aldo Minotti, MD

My hip replacement experience exceeded my expectations. All the activities to prepare for, conduct, and recover from the surgery were performed flawlessly. I found all the staff to be extremely professional and pleasant to work with. Dr. Minotti explained everything ahead of time and took all the mystery out of the procedure. I found the application for pre and post recovery to be quite helpful. I could not be more pleased with the level of care and the outcome.

I have had a number of surgeries in my life. Surgery with Dr. Minotti gave me an excellent outcome, and removed daily pain from my life. My new knee has exceeded my expectations. He is a very skilled surgeon.

Dr. Minotti is TERRIFIC in my opinion because he performed a "miracle" when he provided my total knee replacement for my left knee, which had a great deal of bone loss due to "wear and tear". He is an EXCELLENT physician, and I received the BEST care that I could have imagined from him, his office staff (Hamden), and his hospital staff (Griffin). Dr. Minotti provides the information that his patients NEED to hear, educating them in the process, and the care that they will be receiving, and, more importantly, WHAT is involved in the total (beginning to end) surgery, and especially the aftercare. When my left knee is completely healed, I will be having my right knee "fixed" by Dr. Minotti and his staff. He treats his patients with dignity, respect, and a "dash of humor", while delivering top-notch medical expertise. I am proud to call myself a "Minotti Miracle Patient".

I received excellent care from Dr. Minotti. I appreciated his calm demeanor and no-nonsense explanation of what my hip surgery would entail, including what to expect as I recovered. I am very happy with the results of my surgery. I was confident that I was in skilled hands. Also, his staff was very responsive to my questions and made me feel comfortable by always concluding a phone call by saying "call any time."

Appalling and disrespectful is what comes to mind. It is evident that money and power has gone to this so-called professionals head. His lack of human decency and empathy is his strength. Such a shame the medical profession is represented so poorly with him in the field. Don’t waste your phone call here. There are other professionals who truly earned their badge.... He is not one of them. Very disappointed.

Dr Minotti is a no nonsense doctor. He direct and very knowledgeable and explains exactly what he's going to do. Also what time frame recuperating usually takes. I wouldn't want another doctor doing my procedures. Both hips totally replaced. Next need both knees.

I couldn't be more pleased with my medical care experience with Dr. Philip Minotti. His is a practice which, in my mind, exceeded my expectations for professionalism yet friendly "relatable interchange of patient doctor objectives" for the targeted outcome of my procedure, "if deemed necessary". I am nearly 4 months post-surgery and have met and surpassed the projected expectations for rapid minimal pain recovery and am regaining flexibility. Dr. Philip Minatti's skill and patient friendly surgical procedure which avoids the cutting of muscle tissue to allow for speedier repair and recovery. I highly recommend him to anyone considering/seeking highly qualified advice and/or surgical relief from serious hip function impairment to their quality of life.
