Dr. Philip G Onghai, MD

Dr. Onghai is very detailed in his work. I had gone to several Neurologist in San Antonio TX, and not one could help with my situation, until after having back surgery, I met Dr. Onghai at Select Rehabilitation San Antonio Tx. Select Rehab helped with my recovery after back surgery with Dr. Onghai being the Neurologist at the facility...I explained to him that I wouldn't have had to have back surgery if I hadn't fallen, I went on to explain to him my condition I had been suffering for years that caused me to lose my balance due to stiffness that occurred mid back to the back of my legs, which caused me to fall. He took time to evaluate my condition and find that it was an adverse reaction I was experiencing as a side affect that involved several medications that were not working well together, mind you that I had been on this recipe of medication for years and no other physician would take the time to research why my condition and it kept worsening. At times I felt my body… functions and my brain were not working together and suffered some debility, as I aged it kept getting worse. Little did I know that the medications I had been on for years were causing me to suffer such side effects as stiffness through out my body and some memory lapses that would cause me to be unsure of my whereabouts, but now that I am free of 3 of the medications I used for so long, I have had great improvement in my mobility and have not suffered the stiffness throughout my body. My mind is clearer and for once I can live my life free of ailments that caused such limitations. Thank You Dr. Onghai you are the best.
