Dr. Philip B Paty, MD

Dr Paty is by far one of the best doctors I have ever used. He is so warm and professional so knowledgeable. He takes the time to sit with you and explain everything that you'll ever need to know regarding your procedure and all the detailed information that goes with it. He truly cares about his patients. I had a huge procedure & I knew I was in the best hands. He called me multiple times at home just to see how I was doing and when I wasn't feeling my best and wanted to see him he brought me right into clinic no problem what so ever. I feel blessed to have him as my Dr and know that I couldn't have found a surgeon with more skill. His support staff is second to none and you can't be one of the best without a support staff that is the best.

Dr. Paty did an incredible job with a partial resection of my dad's colon - he had a large tumor, and the surgery was flawless and he was out of the hospital in a couple of days. But aside from his obvious surgical skill, my family was struck by how thoughtful and encouraging he has been throughout the process. Even with his large number of patients, each time he met with us, we felt he took his time and took care to thoughtfully and honestly answer all our questions, and help keep us optimistic even in the face of uncertainty with my dad's cancer. Right now my dad is going through chemo, and we feel very lucky to have Dr. Paty's care and expertise to deal with this illness and his ongoing treatment.

Dr. Paty has saved my life twice now. He takes as much time as you need, and explains everything very fully! I am recovering now from an emergency surgery and so glad he was there for me when I needed him.

Dr. Paty cured me of rectal cancer in 2007. I'll be forever grateful for his professionalism, bedside manner and overall success with my situation. I was fortunate enough that my GE recommended him and I didn't need to 'shop' around; do it if you must.....then see him.
