Dr. Philip Salvatore Rasulo, MD

I'm a 70-year-old woman who was first diagnosed with Graves' disease at the age of 52. Fortunately for me, my first endocrinologist, Dr. James Hurley whose practice was in Manhattan, pointed out to me that many American endocrinologists insist on treating Graves' disease patients with radioactive iodine, but Dr. Hurley put me on methimazole instead. I moved to Bradenton a few years ago, and I met with Dr. Rasulo. He also subscribes to the European method of treating the disease, and he kept me on methimazole. I am doing very well. Dr. Rasulo is very knowledgeable, puts his patients at ease, and has a very pleasant personality. I am so glad I found him because finding a good endocrinologist these days isn't easy.

Nothing good or bad about the doctor. The appointment clerk is not a nice person. I've had 3 conversations with this person and I am moving to another doctor just to keep keep from having conversations with her.

He actually reads the patient file, and listens to the patient concerns. He seems interested in the conversation he is having with the patient.

Over a 3 month period, I spent nearly $1000 for this doctor, who charged me $115 for a 10 minute appointment, dismissing labs out of range, hung up on ...

Dr. Rasulo is the most caring doctor I've ever been to. He takes reas interest in you as a person as well as giving advice and information. I'd recommend him to everyone.

I have been a patient of Dr Rasulo's for over 20 years being treat for hypokelemia. He has always should extreme compassion for any issue I may have. Recently diagnosed with diabetes, I know I will be cared for with knowledge and concern from him. Thank you Dr Rasulo for the wake up call. I have modified my diet and am losing weight and beginning to feel like my old self.
