Dr Schoenfeld has been my OB/Gyn for over 20 years and he is always kind compassionate and very knowledgeable.

Dr Schoenfeld genuinely cares about his patients. He listens to concerns, answers questions thoroughly. He has followed up with me in certain circumstances. He is not an alarmist, but does take concerns seriously. His office staff and assistants are very friendly and helpful. It is a very clean and professional office. I have recommended it.

I have been a patient at the setauket seeing dr. Shoenfeld since 2001! He delivered 2 of my children and I has been an amazing doctor and person since day one!! He takes his time to listen and address your concerns, he genuinely care about his patients, and is very gentle and kind! When I was diagnosed with breast cancer some years back, he took the time to personally call me and discuss the results of my mammogram and my various options. He really cares and he shows it.

I would recommend anyone who has been putting off the dreaded FIRST colonoscopy to go see Dr Philip Schoenfeld. His knowledge and professionalism (including bedside manner) put me at ease. His friendly office staff are also very professional and accommodating. Dr S. gave me choices and supported me in the choice I made. I am very thankful to God that I did not have any negative reports, but if I did, Dr S & his staff would have been their, putting my safety and health first and foremost. Again, if you have been putting off seeing a Dr for any of your personal needs, please know that you will be giving yourself the best care by going and seeing Dr. Philip Schoenfeld & his staff!

When I met Dr. Schoenfeld, I had been dealing with a fibroid that I had for some time. He was concerned about the size of it and immediately ordered an ultrasound. After which he called to tell me he was referring me to a surgical oncologist, which was rather alarming. He explained that it was probably nothing but he preferred to err on the side of caution. He was very compassionate and understanding and told me to call him if I had any questions. After I saw the oncologist, Dr. Schoenfeld called to follow up and see how my appointment went and if I had any questions. I was really blown away by this. He probably didn't have to make the second call at all, but he did. He called because he cared about my physical and mental health. Ultimately, I had a hysterectomy and my fibroid tumor was benign. But it says alot about Dr. Schoenfeld as a doctor and as a person, to check in with me after my appointment with the oncologist.
