Dr. Philip Sheridan Smith, MD

Dr Philip Smith treated me for Lyme disease back in 1990. I had it for almost two years but was not tested by my primary doctor. I was recommended to Dr Smith, and he put me on an IV for 21 days followed up with 2 different antibiotics for at least 10 months, until I felt better. I was lucky to find him and this is long overdue to thank him for my life back! I was so sick. Couldn’t drive and could barely walk and many other problems. Thank you Dr. Smith!!!!

Went to dr smith last year, because I have Lyme disease. And I was bedridden, he was trouble, and rude. And didn’t know anything about Lyme disease. and I haven’t no use for doctors. Don’t waste your time going to him.

Caused months of pain and stress to my 75 year old father by dismissing an obvious big problem. Every other doctor we saw said his assessment was wrong and delayed treatment has caused a longer healing time and made my dad have to be stuck in his home longer than would have been needed. In my opinion this doctor should not be in medicine based on my one experience. Shameful. Office staff is incredibly grumpy.. No one returns calls and he's only there Fridays. If you want a call back during the week good luck. He barely listened to my dad as he was describing the pain. How are you an infectious disease doctor. Stay clear.

Received an examination from Dr. Phillip-Smith today and it was great. I saw the doctor after contracting Lyme disease and he was very thorough and deliberate. For the first time in a long time I did not wait for an extended period of time and when the doctor was examining me he took his time. the doctor spoke to me about not only my disease but my overall health and lifestyle. The doctor ordered a regime of tests and I feel confident that his care will have a great conclusion. Just as importantly from a total care perspective the doctor's staff was very professional, friendly, and kind. Everyone in the building that I spoke with had the highest regards for the doctor. You are fortunate if you get him.

I received no help from this Dr. He was rude and didn't care to hear about my medical history or current problems I was having. He dismissed me almost as soon as I walked into his office. I was there for Lyme disease and all he did was look at test I had from months before my visit and say, "I cant help you, you don't have Lyme". He ran no blood work or even cared enough to try to figure out why I wasn't well. He truly put me off from seeing Drs for a long time. I would NEVER recommend this man. Waste of time and money!

Was extremely disappointed with Dr. Smith. No compassion, dismissive, and didn't want to hear what my history of what I was there for - Lyme disease. Did not appear knoweledgeable enough for this infectious disease. No real medical history taken, i.e, what medications do I take. Would not return EVER!
