Dr. Philip Alan Sobol, MD

I don't care what anyone says he was the best orthopedic doctor I had. He performed a surgery on my hand and I have nit had any problems with it at all! No more carpal tunnel. He also did my ACL surgery. I'm sorry he is in prison, sorry to hear that. I'm saddened to hear that he allowed greed to corrupt him, he was a skilled surgeon. My heart goes out to his family.

I was extremely sorry to hear about his difficulties with the law. I wish him good success. He was the only doctor alone with his associated doctors and staff. He was very knowledgeable and concerned. Since he left workers comp has been extremely difficult and extremely unbelievable wrong. They denied me the right to have a orthpedic doctor. My workers comp case is 17 years old. I never knew how ugly people are until I became injured. My entire back is gone. I'm unable to work anymore. Now they want to hand me few dollars. The nutural doctor should be looked at he is to be for no one; just to decide what is right. Instead the insurance company has him in their pocket. I can understand why they wanted him out!!! He wasn't in their back pocket. I told Dr. Sobol when I first went to see Dr. Newton how badly he treated me. Not just me; the other patients who were Dr. Sobol's patients as well. As this point I ask God what are you going to do about such dishonesty? I have my doctors tell me… how wrong it is however, they are too afraid to do anything about it. They hated Sobol !!! They were afraid of him!!! Wherever you are Dr.Sobol thanks ???? with all my heart for the excellent care that you gave to us. I'm a nurse and have been in the healthcare system for 40 years, I have never seen such evil people as these. If there's any encouragement in these words: "God is the just judge". Their day is coming. Watch and see. I will continue to pray for you. Everyone reap what you sow.

I was referred for a Workers Comp case and found Dr Sobol’s entire operation to feel like a group who chased ambulances. I received a fake exam, and asked when I was really going to be examined as my issues were real... Dr Sobol came in after I complained enough, he was a complete joke! Nice hair, beautiful Mont Blanc pen in his finely pressed shirt pocket, lovely cuff links and I believe Feragamo loafers... I went back for a 2nd appointment where I was told they were closing my case and advising my attorney but he had the audacity to request that I write a note/letter regarding the care I received from his office as he was closing it since he had been enduring an investigation. I laughed and said you’ve rendered no care to me and you clearly don’t even remember who I am, I complained about the lack of a real examination. If you look him up you will see he has plead guilty and is likely incarcerated. Being referred to this crook caused a serious delay with real care being received.… He also has to pay per the plea agreement more than $5mil.... he had patients operated on who did not need surgery!!!! I’m glad I went with my gut feeling.

I was seen in 2006 by the now criminal Dr. Sobal for a workers comp injury case. During this time I was also pregnant. In Oct. of 2006 2.5 months after having my daughter I was seen by Sobal for a surgery consult. I was told verbatim by Sobal your going to have to quit breast feeding ! I cant have you leaking breast milk out all over my operating table. I cried immediately, it was workers comp so I feared that if I complained it would derail my case. soi remained quiet but will never forget. My child was allergic to milk so breast feeding would of been best for her.

Dr. Sobol never spent more than a minute w/me. He'd show up jump from booth to booth. When I complained about one Dr. who's questions were repetitive & some of his questions did not pertain to my injuries, his staff of so called professional dr's made me wait on all future visits way longer than other patient's who arrived after me. I spent more time looking for parking than Dr. Sobol spent on me in his overcrowded office. We were treated like cattle. Dr. Sobol's receptionist's & medical assistants were the only professional staff on duty.

ONLY ONE OPTION FOR BACK PROBLEMS: "SURGERY"
