Dr. Philip Andrew Yazbak, MD

I can never say enough. His manner in office visits, and before surgery is magnificent. Between my recent 2 surgeries and my husbands years ago for a back fusion, we can say with much experirnce, he is one of the best. He knows so much yet he keeps things light hearted, he makes me feel comfortable, answers questions, and gets what needs to be done, done. Trust is #1. I have that with Dr. YAZBAK. Ive seen peoe post about him "talking over" patients. Not the case. He talks fast, gets to the point but he listens and answers! He works for the patient.

Dr. Yazbak has all the qualities one could ask for when considering a surgeon. He is caring and very approachable, and extremely capable. I felt that I was in the best possible hands, when it came to surgery involving my face, which was a concern for me. He exudes confidence as well as compassion, which is a wonderful blend of talents. After experiencing his level of care, he is my gold standard when it comes to excellence in medical practice. Very good doctor I felt very comfortable with him

My experience with this physician was absolutely horrific. 1 surgery and will not think twice about another. No bedside manner, over talks his patients, persists on his way despite patients wishes, Would give him 0 stars if I could. Will not refer anyone to him.

Just heard about this site, so decided to leave a review from an experience back in 2001 or so. Had gone to several doctors and surgeons and was not satisfied. Saw Dr. Yazbak, was very comfortable with him, and felt he was very competent, partly based on recommendations from other doctors and partly from my meetings with him. 100% positive result from the laminectomy he gave me (also, other people can hardly see the scar on the back of my neck). Highly recommend him without any reservations.

four years ago..my husband was losing the use of his thumb and hand..we were led to Dr. Yazbak...Yes, he is quick on the draw..but he performed surgery within 5 days..and no problems since..Yes, I recommend Dr. Yazbak if you want the job done..and grateful to him..thank you Dr. Yazbak...

Excellence

It was just by chance that my mom had Dr. Yazbak as her neurosurgeon. The night she had her MRI - he happened to be on call. I'm so grateful that he was, because I'm positive we could never have chosen a finer surgeon for her. From the very first call, he put us at ease. Her surgery was a great success, even though her brain tumor ended up being a GBM. She has surpassed the average life expectancy of most GBM patients, and I'm certain it's because he did such a wonderful job of removing all her initial tumor. He has given me the greatest gift of all - more time with my mom and the ability for her to be present at the birth of my second child. Dr. Yazbak goes above and beyond for his patients AND their family members. He calls on weekends or after hours to answer questions and has a great bedside manner. He listens and respects the wishes of the patient and family and provides guidance where there is SO much uncertainty. I would have absolutely no reservations if my family or myself… needed any kind of procedure from him because I know he is highly skilled. I cannot say enough good things about him.
