Doesn’t care about his patients- likes to listen to himself speak like he’s putting on a performance.

Got 60%+ wrong in even taking down acurately, even the most basic and easily verifiable information. So you can imagine how distorted a diagnosis could get from that level of not being able to record information properly. Unbelievable.. it was as if his mind was already so busy spinning off with creative judgements that he couldn’t even get basic facts recorded correctly. Perhaps he could use an assistant who could ask the questions that don’t require an opinion would help him? When I read his report, I almost thought I was reading somebody elses’s file. His hurried and distracted diagnosis could cause so much harm! The amount of time it would take to undo the inaccuracies is something not many would or should have to go through. Although distracted by who knows what, his outward demeanor was calm and smooth and kind, but in an overdone (and I’m sorry, but I have to say fake and condescending way). I can see this outward calming presentation being helpful with someone who was… agitated or unstable, but not it just made me not trust him. When you read a report that got SO many basic facts 180 degrees reversed; things that were not subjective in any way.. How could you give an accurate diagnosis when you show that you are so distracted that you can’t even record basic data correctly? Obviously I don’t think any of this was intentional, but someone in this position of power could irreversibly mess someone’s life up if they see him in a setting where he is the doctor on staff and you don’t get to see him ever again to correct things. His words could go on to cause a chain of problems he would never even k ow about because he wasn’t even aware of mistakes made in the first place. These problems could be corrected if the patient were seeing him on a repeat basis, but they have little recourse when his speedy conclusions are so wrong simply because he wasn’t listening, fully present in the moment. It appeared as though he was listening, but as I think back, I can see that his brain was off in the future, coming up with possible interesting-sounding diagnoses. If I could give zero stars I really would. There’s no excuse for this from someone who wields such power to do potential harm. Again, I don’t think any of this was intentional, but in the end that doesn’t matter.
