Dr. Phillip Price Shadduck, MD

April 21st, 2023 Dr. Shadduck operated on me. Double inguinal hernia. All went well!! Dr. Shadduck, Cathy and his entire staff were great during the several months that he was seeing me. I was so fortunate to be under the care of Dr. Shadduck and I am so grateful for all that he did for me. He's a fantastic, compassionate, wonderful doctor and would go back to him again without any hesitation.

Dr. Shadduck has always been a genuine and caring physician! He is interested in getting to the correct diagnosis and helping with whatever treatment is needed!

Dr. Shadduck performed my inguinal hernia repair after monitoring my condition for a year and a half. He is NOT a "cut first" type of surgeon. The procedure went smoothly and recover is going well. I never had to wait more than a minute or two after my appointment time, but he always to all the time needed to answer all my questions. He is a very personable and compassionate surgeon.

Dr. Shadduck took a conservative approach to my inguinal hernia. I went through a months-long "watchful waiting" period, until the growth in the hernia became too concerning for me. He agreed that surgery was indicated. He took the time to explain the procedure and alternatives very clearly. We also reviewed the likely recovery and rehab periods. The pre-op preparation was expert, the procedure was uncomplicated, and I am fine at my 2-week follow-up. Once again, Dr. Shadduck was clear about dos and don'ts as recovery progresses. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Shadduck has lots of good reviews for a reason--he is awesome! From a surgery done by another surgeon I ended up with a hernia and lots of scar tissue. He is perfectionist having performed thousands of these types of surgery. Not only is my hernia repaired, but the recovery was much easier than I thought it would be. If you are looking for a surgeon who is a good listener and an expert at general surgery, look no further.

Dr. Shadduck performed a much needed surgical procedure for me. His surgical skill, bedside manner and overall professionalism were outstanding. Likewise, his office staff, from Cathy in scheduling, to his physician assistant, Sarah Duncan, his medical assistant, Olivia Seybold, and even the check in staff could not have been better. I recommend Dr. Shadduck and his team very highly.

Dr. Shadduck removed my gallbladder a couple of weeks ago and I have experienced little to no issues postoperatively. From the first visit to my post op check today, the care provided was exceptional.

Learned more that visit than we have the whole time he has had the tube

Was deciding on which type back surgery to have.If I was to have one type of surgery ,Dr Shadduck would assist orthopedic surgeon.He was very patient discussing all aspects of both type surgeries.

I went to Dr Shadduck about a hernia. I asked him if it was going to give me any problems over the next 10-15 years without surgery, and he told me it didn't matter, because I would die before then anyway. He said, with my health issues, I probably wouldn't live more than 7-9 years. WOW. I've been determined to lose weight and get control of my health, but with "support" like this, why bother? I won't be going back there - EVER.
