She took the time to review my life history carefully, did tests including gene testing, and came up with some accurate hypotheses about why I hadn’t been treated to being 100% ever before. It turned out that hormone problems poor gene matches for medicines were there, it was amazing how this information Changed my treatment and my life. Sent several friends to her since, all good!

Dr. Boniface is an overprescriber. She prescribed many meds to combat the side effects of other meds creating a vicious cycle. She was a poor listener and did not take patient concerns seriously. Dr. Boniface is very difficult to get a hold of and obtaining prescription refills in between appointments was next to impossible.

It is hard to get in touch with Dr. Boniface. She does not call back. There was a time where this cost me considerably. I had an urgent situation and she did not respond. I see someone else now.

Dr's psychopharm recommendations were the difference between suffering for the last 20 years with depression and being in recovery, finally. We reviewed every symptom and med in my history to find out why I wasn't getting better and we came up with a plan that really worked! And the office is beautiful and convenient to UM geographically.

The first appointment I made with her was great. She seems like she knows her stuff. However, she isn't in it for patient care.When I tried to call to reschedule an appointment, I never got a call back. I called constantly and nothing. I then received the bill in the mail for the missed appointment. I then decided to email her assistant, which everything goes through, about the issue. I contacted her and her response was:"The best way for Dr. Boniface to return your calls is to keep your appointments or give her 24 hours notice if you can't make an appointment."So if you "miss" an appointment don't plan on getting a call back, ever - not even if you are having issues with the medication she put you on, like I did.Now I'm left stranded without a doctor (I'm not going to return to a doctor who does not care for their patients) on medication that is giving me awful side effects.NOTE: She does not take insurance. You will need to contact your insurance company after each visit to see if… they will approve of it.

Dr. Boniface is both very thorough in her pursuit of the right treatment while at the same time coming across as very caring while trying to find the best treatment for your problem.She follows through making sure that things are improving as expected. At follow-ups she doesn't do a perfunctory check and write refills like some other doctors have. She makes sure that I'm doing as I should, and adjusts things if I am not doing as well as I should be.I would strongly recommend her to any of my family or friends.

Dr. Boniface is a very intuitive and considerate person. She absolutely changed my daughters outlook on life. I highly recommend Dr. Boniface for her skills.
