Dr. Pietro Russo, MD

This physician has been deceased for something like 10 years. He didn’t examine anyone in 2016, so that review is false. I worked in the same office building so I am absolutely sure of this.

Cold hands and a colder heart. His accent was difficult to understand at best. He had a horrible bedside manner and performed the most painful abdominal and testicular exam. Very loud, very brisk manner of speech; I spent more time with his nurse than with him. He would have us sitting in the cold exam room in our underwear until he was ready to see us. He misdiagnosed my asthma, accusing me of being a smoker at age of 14; I did not realize that I had had asthma my whole life until I had started medical school . He ridiculed my dreams of joining the Coast Guard when I told him that I would like to become a doctor or a rescue swimmer. One time the office staff had been warned prior to the arrival by my brother and I that we may have had the chicken pox and they chose to disregard this, causing us to inadvertently expose all the children in the waiting room to chickenpox and then once they had realized their mistake, quietly forced us to leave out the back door without so much as a… warning to those in the waiting room. Pietro comes from the Latin word for rock,which is fitting , since he had a cold heart and was as stubborn as one. Good riddance to a horrible doctor.May the devil enjoy his company.

Dr. Russo was a wonderful pediatrician. Very caring. He is now deceased.
