Dr. Piyush K Patel, MD

Saw this doctor for years but decided to leave when his 'newer' office staff members kept messing things up....not returning calls or delivering important messages and/or paper work. You often are as good as your front desk staff..and his went down drastically...so we left.

I have been with Dr. Patel for more than 6 years. Initially, I was hesitant to return because he was honest with me regarding my health and I didn't want to accept it. He was always truthful and for that, I respect his practice. Being that I have accepted and conquered the health challenges, I am in great health and I owe it to Dr. Patel and staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Patel's for over 15 years and couldn't ask for a better physician! He actually takes time to listen to you and shows genuine concern for his patients.

Very unprofessional office. It is not the staff but the policy. They are stingy. They don't accept any fax or call from Pharmacy. So no automatic refill is not possible. According to their policy patient's responsibility to call the office to refill a prescription. I never had that exp .

He spent plenty of time with me and tries to explain the importance of lifestyle changes for my condition without trying to force me unnecessary medications.

Dr Patel rushes and stated he couldn't do anything for my child. Spent 5 mins with my child and came up with a diagnosis. As my child symptoms changed he didn't want to here them. He seemed frustrated when I talked about changes during the 2 visit. He basically made a diagnosis and refused to continue to evaluated as change occurred. Went to another doctor that disagreed with hip diagnosis. Horrible doctor.

My experience with my doctor is great. I like him. Very open minded progressive. Great. But my concern is with the office policy. It is very difficult to get an refill approved. Pharmacies told me the office don't accept fax. Office told me Pharmacist should call instead of Fax. But they don't respond when pharmacist called and left message. Several occasion I have had to borrow medicine from pharmacy because Doctor's office did not approved. I had call in person. I never had this experience before....Pharmacist told me so do they.....
