Dr. Pochien Hsu, MD

Dr Hsu is very knowledgeable in his profession. He is also very thoughtful and friendly. I never feel uncomfortable during my visit. Highly recommended!

Dr. Hsu has been the OB/GYN for our two daughters. He is very nice and responsible. Just love him.

We switched to Dr.Hsu mostly because his wait times are short. We have waited less than 10 min on weekdays, and maybe 20 min on Saturdays. He's friendly, gives lots of information on possibilities and risks, and made us feel very comfortable in our first pregnancy. He spent time with us before and after the birth, in the recovery room.

I really loved Dr. Hsu. It's from the old school independent practices which some people don't like, but you have to know what that type of practice is like. We drive 45 minutes to see him and had our son delivered by him at St. Peter's even though we lived very far. I have tried other OBG practices but I that he cares.

I love Dr. Hsu. He is the best doctor I've ever had, and I feel so comfortable when I go to him. He takes the time to speak with me, and genuinely cares. I moved over an hour away last year, and refuse to change doctors.

Dr Hsu is a nice doctor.He calls and discuss the lab results with you.Very prompt and punctual.He is a very down to earth person and even narrates small incidents from his work.He stayed with me through out the labor.Excellent doctor .I will recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Hsu delivered both my children and is an amazing doctor and person. He cares and is extremely professional. This is a doctor that will promptly see you each visit, give you ultrasound pics each office visit and will be the only doctor that will deliver your children. When I was only 6 weeks pregnant with my first he saw me, did an ultrasound and met with me to discuss my pregnancy for over an hour. He is not part of a big practice that will have on call doctors. He works extremely hard for his patients. I have referred him to many friends and everyone has been very satisfied. He tells you the truth even when it may be hard to hear but will support you every step of the way. He will walk you through each step if your delivery and is not the kind of doctor that will just appear to deliver your baby. Recently I had to bring both my boys with me for an annual exam and the ladies who work for him took amazing care in entertaining them in the waiting room while I saw the doctor. … I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience being Dr. Hsu's patient is!

Prior to coming to Dr. Hsu, I was seeing my female OBGYN for almost 13 years and I must say that I wasn't feeling comfortable seeing a male doctor but he was recommended by two family members. I was really excited in my first visit with Dr. Hsu since it was my first pregnancy visit. Unfortunately, he didn't give me good news about my baby and pregnancy. It was abnormal and pretty much my baby had stop growing at 10 weeks. However, Dr. Hsu handled my situation very professional and wanted me to feel assure that this failed pregnancy would not discourage me from trying again. He recommended that I get a D&C to avoid a painful miscarriage in the days to come and I went ahead to do it at St. Peter's hospital which is a great hospital he is affiliated with. Shortly after my D&C procedure, I wasn't feeling well and quickly called the office. Dr. Hsu called me directly to check on me and asked me to come in. In all my visits to Dr. Hsu's office, his internal staff is very kind,… patient, and very organized. I never had to wait a long time when I checked in. I highly recommend Dr. Hsu and planning to transfer all my paperwork to his practice so he can be my permanent OBGYN.

Dr. Hsu is too busy to talk to you or listen to you.

He was in and out all the times in delivery room, and my baby was turned upside down in between. He was trying to push you our as soon as possible after delivery and will not listen to ANY compliant as he was DONE making Money from this delivery transaction
