Poonguzhali “Poonze” Rangaswamy, FNP-C, is an experienced family nurse practitioner providing comprehensive primary care for the whole family, from ages 2 and up. Starting out as a registered nurse, Poonze was inspired to provide an advanced level of care to her patients by helping to prevent illness so they can live their happiest, healthiest lives. She treats acute and chronic conditions, diabetes, hypertension, asthma, COPD and women’s wellness. As part of her practice, Poonze also performs preventive cancer screenings (pap/HPV testing), birth control counseling, STD screenings, treatment for menopause, and in-office procedures like cryotherapy, suture/staple removal and wound care management. Poonze felt called to medicine after growing up in a setting where many people suffered from diseases without resources to seek medical attention.
