Dr. Prabhakar Rao Guniganti, MD

After I had by-pass surgery in Austin, I moved to east Texas and Dr. G was recommended as a good Cardiologist by a Family Physician in another town. I made an appointment and he performed a stress test and found a potential problem with by heart and recommended an angiogram be performed. I didn't know him and chose to go the cardiologist in Austin who received all the information from Dr. G. and ran the test finding secondary capillaries were feeding the heart. He informed me that it looked like I had found a "good" cardiologist who had made the same diagnosis he would have made. That Dr. G had all the right credentials. Years later Dr. G did another angiogram and found an Aortic Aneurysm and referred me to a surgeon. Dr. Guniganti visited me twice while I was in the hospital and has followed my progress closely. My wife who also sees Dr. Guniganti thinks he is wonderful and a very caring physician. Her belated father is a physician and her sister is a physician. The two of us… are happy he is here and we travel over 68 miles one way to see him.
