My autistic child was prescribed anti-psychotics after literally one visit. He has autism and autistic related behavioral issues only. The school bullied me into the CAT program and sent him to an alternative school after a minor incident. Then they suggested Dr Marballi. I tried the meds and they made him act much worse in addition to the weight gain and drooling, they also made him a totally different person and not in a good way. Don’t go to this doctor unless you want to be sandbagged.

Helps me deal with my problems and very nice

After 1 visit diagnosed my son as bi-polar, prescibed mood stabilizers that have serious side-effects. Sought second opinion. (entailed a rigorous in-patient 45 day eval. long story why School Pressure,Family Court) No bi-polar, No ADD/ADHD. Put together an excellent treatment plan. My son is doing great and not on any meds. This place is vague in regard to their treatment plans. Medication is their mantra. No education, no skills training. Catholic Charities has more programs available than they to. St. Mary's Children's Mental Health needs a new direction. If you use this facility BE WARY. QUESTION, DEMAND and most of all DON'T BE BULLIED BY THEM. YOU ARE IN CHARGE and are the only one who really cares about your children. BE THEIR ADVOCATE.
