Dr. Prashant Rohit Shukla, MD

This office has the rudest, most disrespectful receptionists, who will put you on hold for ten to twenty minutes. My appointment (that was schedule 2 weeks in advance) was canceled by the office with no phone call or notice (due to a “scheduling conflict”) and was rescheduled for a time that I needed to be at work. When I had a medical question for the doctor regarding our appointment I was told “the doctor doesn’t have time to call patients” however they are still accepting new patients? Furthermore, A close family member of mine was addicted to pain medications without a diagnosis due to one of their former nurse practicioners. There is only one actual doctor at this office, the others are only nurse practitioners. When I arrived at my appointment the practitioner told me “I don’t really know what I’m doing here so I’m gonna need to ask you a lot of questions”. Very unprofessional.

I live in Michigan and had asked my nephew to find a doctor to review the eleven (11!!!) medications my 95-year old father (a decorated WW II veteran) had to swallow each day. He was in bad shape, and I feared that he was totally overmedicated. Dr. Shukla came to his home (a house visit is quite remarkable in itself!!!) last SUNDAY just before Christmas (!!) and spent 2 hours with him. He patiently talked to him and to my nephew and thoroughly checked my dad's vitals. Then - to my great delight - he took him off most of these meds, all of which have bad side effects and were not even necessary, especially not for a very elderly person. Now, just a few days later, my father has made an amazing recovery and is doing much better. I cannot thank Dr. Shukla enough for his incredible patience and compassion and for spending so much of his valuable off- time with my father. If I lived a little closer, Dr. Shuklar would definitely be my doctor!

Dr. Prashant Shukla has been taking excellent care of my elderly parents for many years which is why I chose him to be my physician. I requested an appt. for a complete physical examination and he spent a very generous hour speaking to me about my concerns. He ordered appropriate tests for my age and answered all of my questions at length. I would recommend him to anyone who wants the personal care and expertise he has to offer. Everyone in the office I met treated me with the utmost care and kindness. It was refreshing to receive their smiles and pleasantness.

This doctor really care about his patients health and well being. Very Good with follow up also. He has excellent beside manner. My husband and I love this doctor!!!!!!!
