My brother 43 visited Dr. Reddy for what he thought was heartburn. He had unusal vitals for someone who was resting. 124 resting heart rate 105/79 blood pressure, and a temp of 99.3. So, a really high heart with really low blood pres, and a low grade temp.(Sign of bleeding) Not normal for heartburn. But Dr. Reddy, in her haste and lack of patient care, sends my brother on his way with famotindine (heartburn medicine). By the way, my brother mentioned he had this so called heart burn for nearly five days and it started with the worst stomach pain he had ever felt.(Typical heart attack symption) My brother died of heart failure 3 days later. All she had to do was take the time to ask more questions and given his age, take 5 minutes to get an echocardiogram. Kaiser is also to blame here, they want to save money at your expense, so caring is not a typical option as it would cost lots of money to run dianostics and spend more than 15 minutes per visit.Lastly, beware, she went to school… outside the US which may have lower standards for obtaining a medical license.
