Dr. Priscilla Jean Ware, MD

I can not say she has been helpful...It doesn't matter what the symptoms, she can't never find anything wrong...If it is a fever it will go away, that is the way of the body fight the germ...If he has stuffy nose for two consecutive weeks, a cold takes 2 to 3 weeks let run its course...Very condescending ...

Dr. Ware has demonstrated the true definition of what a genuine professional is over the span of my life time. She has served as my pediatrician and now serving as my children's primary doctor. We have grown to love, respect and appreciate Dr. Ware for her outstanding service.

Dr. Ware is really a great doctor. She is not condescending, not an alarmist and makes me feel 100% confident that I can trust what she tells me. She follows up after a visit to see how my son is doing and responds promptly to emails at any time. As a first time parent, I am sure I do not need to be contacting her as much as I do but she is always patient and responsive. I would recommend her without reservation. I have never had an issue with the office staff as a couple of other reviewers mentioned - though even if I did - I would continue to bring my son to Dr. Ware because we are so lucky to have found her!

The first time I met Dr.Ware I was very pleased. She took her time, answered all my questions and provided her own input. This was a one time occurance. Every appointment after this has been more disappointing than the last. Her office actually charged my insurance for a visit when she didn't even see my daughter that day due to her office being disorganized. Then the next time I waited 1 hour for shots. She does not have a phlebotomist on staff so you are at the mercy of their schedule when you go downstairs. I now see a pedicatrician on 75th Street even though I live walking distance from Dr. Ware's office. I will travel 30 minutes just for an attentive, caring physician who works in an organized office.

Can't said Dr. Ware is not good even though sometimes is hard to get referrals from her (it looks like she actually works for the insurance companies and she is saving them money). However, her assistant doesn't have a sense of how insurance company works. I book a physical for my daughter (take time off from work)check-in wait for 40 minutes and her assistant come outside to tell me that my daughter is not ready for a physical that it was wrong? I asked her why when I booked or either when i check in they didn't said anything and she gave me an non-sense answer. Got home and guess what? I found a message from Dr. Ware asking me to bring my daugther the next day to see her? I called her and she apologized of the confusion because her assistant went over her head and didn't check with her firs? So I guess her assistant thinks that she is the only one who works? or probably that I am seating in my house dedicated to do nothing but just waiting for appointments? well I told her to thank… her assistant for loosing two patients that she had for a long time. I believe her assistant works just for the money and not because she likes her career that is take care of patients!!

Dr. Ware is the kind of doctor that you don't think exists anymore - she makes herself available on off-hours, calls to follow-up on a sick kid, and really takes the time to talk and listen to concerns. She has always provided excellent care to my young son and daughter. I'm sorry I can only give her four stars.

Dr. Ware has been fabulous. She once called us at 9pm to let us know lab results for a test we had for our newborn. She said she didn't want us to be up at night worrying. She has answered all my questions by email, returned my phone calls, and spent time with me at our appointments. I'd definitely recommend her.
