Wonderful doctor-takes time to explain-very knowledgeable -does not rush the appointment-very kind and compassionate

She's generally warm and friendly and had some sound advice. But I had a couple of strange visits with her in my 20's. She made me do the pep smear even though I wasn't the age of I've never had intercourses. She didn't believe that I've never had any intercourses. When she broke what I believe was the hymen during the exam, she covered up and said she saw a little blood because my period was for soon. I was dripping blood in my underwear at work afterwards. That was not period blood. Another time, a few days after I turned in my heart monitor to detect possible palpitation, her staff called to ask me to go to the office because she had results to share. This was really worrying because I thought something was wrong with me. I went to the office only to have her tell me that everything seemed fine, and I was charged for the visit. I was too young to realize that wasn't the norm. She may be a good doctor, but I want to highlight these incidents for awareness.

The wait time to see Dr Gagneja is ridiculous- nine months to a year is beyond what should be acceptable for a doctor. I have called three times in the past two years to see Dr Gagneja due to injuries from accidents, and I was referred each time to urgent care. You will never be able to see this doctor

Extremely personable; thoughtful and careful listener. Spent a lot of time with me and was patient with my questions. Was prepared for the follow-up visit: knew lab results and that tests ordered by another doc had not been scheduled because of a clinic foul-up-- she reordered them herself on the spot and they were scheduled the following day. Ever since my doctor decided to stay home with her children, I've had a hard time finding a primary care physician that I really like. Earlier this year a friend recommended Dr. Gagneja and I did have to wait a couple of months to get in for my annual exam, but since I was healthy, it didn't really matter. At that appointment I found Dr. Gagneja to be the perfect combination of interested, knowledgable, informative, and caring. She asked lots of questions, listened attentively and didn't make me feel like she was in a hurry. After the labwork came back there were a couple of follow-up items that she contacted me about immediately, which I appreciated. I also appreciated the fact that she fit me right in when I called with a painful situation. I'm really happy to have found Dr. Gagneja and would recommend her to other women looking for a good primary care physician.
