Dr. Priya Bajaj Pillai, MD

A great doctor and gifted surgeon. Seems like she truly cares about her patients.

Will never go back. she vax-shamed my natural immunity and mocked me for defending my natural immunity. She was more concerned with discriminating against me than with helping me.

I found Dr. PIllai to be very straight forward, very comfortable to talk with, and reassuring. Her staff were polite, friendly, and professional. My wait time was minimal (for two different appointments). I was very at ease with her examination.

The surgery with this doc was traumatizing and terrifying! Every encounter I have had with this doc was not good at all. Never had such experience like this from a doc. I just moved here from out of state and had to find a new doc. My 1st appointment with her, she was over an hour late(I sat in the exam room waiting). Then I had to wait 3 hours in pre-op, after not having any food or drink for 16 hours before going in to surgery. While in recovery, the nurse told me that the doc will come by shortly to check on me, she never came. So, I left the hospital with no idea how the surgery went or anything at all! The nurse did apologize for the doc not showing up. The anesthesia portion of the surgery left me with nightmares for a good while! Lastly, I am entering perimenopause transition in my life and tried to get clarity on this transition. I lost my mother at a young age so I have no idea how this all works. This is not complicated. Communicate with her was odd as she responds very… condescending, over- bearing and basically insulting my intelligence. I am simply trying to learn about this transition phase in my life. Strangely enough, she seems overly concerned about herself (accomplishments) and not so much the concerns I have over my health. Every encounter I have had with her was basically a belittling experience and I leave each appointment more confused than before. Anyway, I have never had such bad health care from a doc in my entire life. I will go elsewhere to find a new doc.

Made me unnecessarily stay in the hospital for 3 days thinking I would get a surgery, kept me from all food and water for a day and a half and told told me the shot she gave me was not birth control when itbwas ans caused weight gain too worries about her reputation than her patients.

I am happy after 4 years in Charlotte to finally find a gynecologist who I can relate to and trust. Dr. Pillai is smart, personable, and could be a friend, and that's just the type of person I want poking around my privates!

I absolutely loved her. I had to take my teenage daughter to see her. Dr. Pillai has a common sense approach. She is not rushing into medicating patients and told my daughter what she needed to hear not exactly what she wanted to. Lol. I can trust her judgement for sure.

God forbid she writes you a prescription that does not covered. Then it takes forever for her and her staff to get it together and get a clue to change it. Always running behind on her appointments. Expect to wait for an hour even with appointment. Then only see you for 5 mins. Staffs are rude.

She has a HORRIBLE bedside manor. It is hard enough to go to the OB and let it all hang out, she is not very sensitive to women s emotions and procedures we have to go through. I would not recommend her at all.

In my eyes Dr. Bajaj Pillai is a saint. In 2008 my daughter was stillborn at no faught of Dr. Pillai. Dr. Bajaj Pillai's love and care she showed my family and I is one of the main reasons I survived this trauma. She has shown me great care and concern for the 4 years following. She is a very professional and smart lady. I would not hesitate to recommend her.
