I had hoped to get established with a new gastroenterologist for a pre-existing diverticulosis diagnosis since 2013. Scheduling an appointment took a few weeks but I expected that for a specialist. However, I did not expect, nor appreciate being belittled when trying to give my medical history. She went so far as to tell me that what i was feeling was not a diverticulitis flare. She also honed in on MRI results (a year old) that she was interested in exploring. I stressed to her that a liver specialist determined it as benign. She still wanted to do another MRI instead of addressing the increased flares that i have been experiencing. A week later. I had to go to urgent care for treatment again for acute diverticulitis. I do not recommend this specialist.

I was impressed with the care I received! The prep was not as bad as I thought being my first screening. My husband was also impressed and scheduled a screening too. If you knew him you would know how huge this compliment really is.

The first time I met with Dr.Rangasamy she appeared professional and concerned. The second time I seen her was for the colonoscopy she was unprofessional and cold. After the nurse prepped me she stated the Doctor will be in to see you she never came. Another came and nurse wheeled me back to the room where the procedure would take place and Dr.Rangasamy was in the room on the phone, I was shocked because I never seen a doctor on the phone minutes before conducting a procedure. The nurse continued hooking me up to different apparatus and stated the doctor will come over and speak with me, she did not. I called her over and asked questions about the procedure she stated she would tell my mother who was waiting for me. When I was in the recovery room Dr.Rangasamy still had not spoken with me. Her behavior was rude and unprofessional. If there was anything less than one star I would have marked it.
