Dr. Shekhawat walked into the room and her calm and caring demeanor put us at ease. She listened to us and we didn’t feel rushed at all. It’s such a relief to find a doctor you can trust and is part of your team.

Based upon previous negative reviews, I was concerned to take my son to Dr. Shekhawat. I'd like to reassure other patients who may be reading this that Dr. Shekhawat didn't 'abruptly leave her practice' nor was she dismissed. The practice closed and all the providers found new locations. Our visit with with her was thorough. She met my son and repeated case notes from his PCP to him, to clarify everything that had already been written down. After she was sure the notes were correct ( some were not) she began a series of questions about his condition to assess him. After carefully listening, she referred him for further diagnostic testing, as well as referred him to a cardiologist to rule out any cardiogenic roots of his neuro symptoms, as well as humbly referred him to a neurosurgeon in Boston, as she admitted that his brain cyst was 'not her niche.' I was delighted that she was more than willing to refer him to someone else, knowing the limitations of her own specialty. She also… prescribed my son a medication to help with his ( currently chronic) headaches, which are helping him for now. We had a completely positive experience, and my son said afterwards that he did feel listened to and heard. We have a clear path forward, with lots of support. Dr. Shekhawat was a complete joy to work with.

We absolutely adore this gem of a person. My daughter and I are following her to her new practice. She has always been super efficient and kind with our treatment. I have to say that she goes above and beyond with her patients. Highly recommend!

Run, and run away fast and far from anything to do with Priyanka Shekhawat as a so called "clinician." She nearly killed my child due to a wildly inappropriate medication regimen, and once called out for it she became quite adversarial and deceitful. I ultimately had to get the patient advocate team involved at the hospital she worked at - evidently there were other patient advocate cases in process related to her defective ways - and shortly after she began to send me ridiculous CYA letters that were littered with inaccuracies and mistruths to protect herself despite having documentation to show the real facts. Upon engaging the patient advocate team and having pulled my child from her care effective immediately with the note to no longer contact me, she STILL continued to call my cell phone and email me! She is wildly dismissive of parental concerns and highly if not patently defensive and will simply do whatever she wants even when the data shows otherwise. She's a hack at… best, and potentially lethal at worst. I had considered pursuing a complaint with the medical board to revoke her license to practice in the state of NH, but was too cumbersome of a process so now just dropping critiques of her for others to easily find so parents and caregivers never have the misfortune of running across her, or so that she is ultimately run out of practicing medicine. Evidently her abrupt "she's leaving" hospital communications with no further detail not long after my final days with her (very unlike other positive messages we've gotten from other providers) says it all in terms of how they needed to forcefully deal with her too. Good riddance!

While her biography says she helps focus on children with developmental disorder and autism, sleep disorders, headaches, she will tell you in person that these are not things she deals with as she says they are not neurological issues. She is very off putting and assumes everyone else will take care of the problems that we were sent to her for by other providers. She lacks in transparency and understanding of her patients. She has given me false information about certain medication prescribed for my child. I do not recommend!
