Dr. Ghosh is an amazing doctor. If you have GI problems he is truly the person to go to in Bloomington. Because of this it can be hard to get an appointment on short notice so make sure you schedule your next visit when you leave your first one.

DR Ghosh kept cauterizing a flat polyp in the rectum. He told me surgery was risky as I could be incontinent. He also said the procedure would not leave scars. this answer in response to question my daughter asked. I went to Mayo. Upon doing a sigmoid the doctor remarked on the amount of scaring. The polyp was removed and six years later has not returned. I was advised if polyps are not completely removed they will return. My previous physician advised me that this polyp needed to be closely monitored. Your survey doesn't evaluate quality of care.

Dr. Ghosh is the most caring and compasionate doctor that our family has ever seen. He has an astounding wealth of knowledge and is not at all shy about reaching out to colleuges for their opinions as well. He is truly dedicated to providing superior health care for his patients. It is easy to say we love Dr. Ghosh and are truly thankful for him.

I went to the ER thinking I was having a heart attack. The ER doc told me it was pneumonia which I knew was not right. I happened to have had a routine colonoscopy the day before. I called Dr. Ghosh's office to see if my pain could have been from that. He said no, but got me in immediately to have tests run to find out what was wrong. He called me personally to tell me I had an extremely bad gall bladder and got me set up with a surgeon. He did all this and he was getting ready to leave on vacation. He is great.

I have a serious illness & he put me at ease from my first visit. He has a very calming effect. Wonderful!

My husband and I have each gone twice to Dr. Ghosh for out-patient surgeries, and will continue to do so. He is very professional, conscientious and caring. He explains everything in a way we can understand. We like and appreciate him very much.

Dr. Ghosh is the most dedicated and caring doctor I have encountered. He takes the time to listen to you and explains your problems in an easy to understand way.On more than one occasion he has personaly phoned me about lab or test results instad of having a staff member call. Also all of his staff are wonderful people.I never dread going to his office.
