Dr. Puja Dipak Vora, MD

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this neurologist, Vora. From the very beginning, she was inconsistent in her communication and frequently contradicted herself during appointments. Her lack of professionalism was alarming, not only was she often late, but she also seemed distracted and dismissive when addressing serious concerns. Even more troubling was her negligence in follow-up care. Important test results were delayed or ignored, and critical symptoms were downplayed or brushed off entirely. This level of disregard is unacceptable in any medical setting, especially in a specialty as serious as neurology. Unfortunately, I found her to be untrustworthy and unreliable. I would not recommend her to anyone seeking competent, attentive, and ethical neurological care.

Dr Vora is a great Doctor. When I was hospital she treated me. She always answered my questions and made sure I understood the answers. Very pleasant . Felt that I was in good hands , that I would be well taken care of.

This is in response to the erroneous review from 2017. I work in Dr. Vora's office and can confirm that this patient's message is false. The patient was calling repeatedly for a controlled substance (like a narcotic or benzo) which we do not prescribe, the call was not for seizure meds. The caller was harassing the doctor, answering service and office staff. We are all aware of this issue and patient and it was reported and documented in full.

I was really surprised to read the other review- as I have had an excellent experience and have had only positive and timely responses from Dr. Vora. She has been treating my 88 year old father with sudden on-set seizures for about 8 months now. She is incredibly compassionate and kind and is very knowledgeable regarding seizures and medications. Several other doctors had misdiagnosed and mismedicated him and he was having severe reactions and Dr. Vora immediately improved the treatment plan and successful diagnosed and medicated him. She is smart, friendly, responsive to patient’s and families’ needs and an outstanding doctor. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Vora is the On-call Dr. right now. She should know that patients with Epilepsy CANNOT go without their meds. I have had to call four times because she never called me back. I've never even met her or seen her, nor do I want to. I just want my prescription called in. I got a call from the answering service that she won't take any more calls regarding my needing a prescription refill called in, and she can't do anything. She's (supposed to be) a doctor! I can die without this medicine. This goes completely against the Hippocratic oath she took.
