I have never felt so supported and validated by a psychiatrist in all my 33 years of looking for one I liked. Not only did I feel heard but I felt understood and validated. I felt respected. My search is over. I found my doctor. What a huge relief it is to be in great hands for my medication management. He is worth the wait, he takes his time with each client and each client is the only one he is thinking about when they are in his office, so there may be a bit of a wait, but he is worth it!

I would leave 0 if I could and can't believe this person is still in practice. He'll laugh, jeer, and be inappropriate at any given time. He would offer me samples almost every visit (I was a minor at the time.) which is not only illegal but doesn't make sense as these meds take 4-6 weeks to work. I had a seizure and ended in the ER from one of his "samples" and when I told him HE LAUGHED. Don't waste your time.

I was a patient and only had to change due to insurance. Truly cares about his patients and goes above and beyond for his patients.

I met him for the first time and he took his time with me, he wasn't rushing through like most psychiatrists do.

Called and got immediately hung up on for unknown reasons, not a good first impression

Dr. Kataria does not care about his patients. He discusses the stock market with me and asked me if I have ever heard of Carl Icahn!!

Dr. Kataria has helped me these past 3 years. I thank him from saving my life. I recommend him to family and friends.

I take care of mentally disabled adults, have had several of them in to see Dr. Kataria. I have been bringing clients there for several years. Because of the nature of my job sometimes I have missed appointments so had to reschedule. I had a situation come up at home the day of one of the visits, I called the office to reschedule and they told me they could no longer see the client. I have experienced the same treatment from Dr. as far as him being on the phone while we were in room and also having to wait sometimes up to 2 hrs for a scheduled visit. It is too bad that this happened because the person that was seeing him has severe behavior problem, I could not get the meds for a couple weeks til I was able to get an appointment with someone else. It was a rough couple of weeks for them and myself and everyone in the home. Thanks DR.

First time visit to his office. The location is in a housing area where I had to go into an alley, passing a street person rummaging in the trash. Their were security doors on all of the doors and a boarded up home on one side. There were only approximately 10 parking spots and 6 were taken. I entered the office and was the only one in the waiting room. Good thing or there would not have been parking. Oh, they do not take ATM, debit or credit cards, so bring cash or check or you will not be seen. When I was ushered into his office, he was on the phone having a social call, how are you, haven't spoken to you in a while.... while I sat there as if I was not even there. He actually hung up on that call and made another one without acknowledging me. The next call he was trying to locate four files and saying how long it had been since they talked last. At that point, I said "Thank you for your time and I am not interested" and left. Not sure he even noticed. I stopped to tell the office… staff why I left. She was sweet and said, " if you just wait, he probably had an emergency". Really.... I told her that it didn't look like an emergency. I had read a review that was similar, but I disregarded thinking there were so many other reviews that were good. That was not my experience.
