Dr. Qian Yuan is a pediatric gastroenterologist affiliated with Mass General for Children and Boston Children’s Hospital who specializes in gastrointestinal food allergies and inflammatory digestive disorders in children, including eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES), allergic colitis, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, GERD, and other complex gastrointestinal conditions. He earned his medical degree from Capital University of Medical Sciences in Beijing and later completed a PhD in immunology at the University of Auckland in New Zealand, followed by residency and fellowship training at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Yuan serves as Clinical Director of the Food Allergy Center at Mass General for Children and is actively involved in clinical research focused on gastrointestinal food allergies, eosinophilic disorders, mast cell diseases, and the role of the microbiome and immune system in pediatric digestive health.

Skilled/knowledgeable physician but also an overall an amazing human. He made our experience with our daughters rare food allergies bearable. We love him.

We see Dr.Yuan for my son’s chronic FPIES. Dr. Yuan is the kindest doctor we’ve ever met! He is thorough, open minded and most importantly dedicated to those kids. He is very knowledgeable and always a great listener. He is truly one of a kind and we are forever grateful that we see him! He makes every single patient feel they are his only patient and the only person in the world that matters. You could not possibly ask for more in a doctor.

Dr. Qian Yuan has not only provided the utmost professional care of our son since birth, he checks in as if he is a relative. There is not more you can ask from a pediatrician.

If there were a million awards to nominate Dr. Yuan for, I would. He is absolutely amazing. He is part of a time for my son who suffers from FPIES, a rare severe allergic disorder. Many drs miss this diagnosis. He is so in depth, so caring, makes himself available by phone or email and always listens. A remarkable doctor and a remarkable person

Words can't even describe the level of care and attention you get from Dr. Yuan. He cuts through all the medical/health care red tape and gets back to basics of truly caring for each and every patient he sees. He is an amazing specialist who treats my son for a very rare allergic GI condition. He listens, responds to emails/phone calls right away and has a huge heart combined with unprecedented expertise. I have reccommended Dr Yuan to countless people and not one person has ever told me he lived up to anything less than my high reccommendation. I wish there were more doctors like him out there.

He is wonderful. He is very dedicated. I moved from Boston but he always is going to be in my prayers: he found the solution for my dauthers acid reflux.
