Dr. Quang Thanh Tran, MD

He put tubes in my ears and was suppose to take out my tonsils the same day. 13 years later I go see another ear doctor and he tells me my tonsils have never been touched, that they're still there. Dr. Tran has caused so many problems for me with my ears. I've had 3 sets of tubes BECAUSE he never took my tonsils out. He did surgery on my right ear to close it up because the tubes put holes in my eardrums. Not only did the surgery fail (which I found out a couple years later) but he told me the hole in my left ear had closed on its on which was NOT true. So here I am 13 almost 14 years later with holes in BOTH of my eardrums, I have significant hearing loss and I still have to get my tonsils taken out. All in all he's a horrible doctor and I honestly don't think he should be doing "surgery" on anyone.

Dr. TRAN and staff are the BEST!! Very clean office and kind and professional staff. Dr. TRAN has excellent knowledge and bedside manner. He stays current and I trust all of my children with him.

Dr Tran saved my life. He found that I had cancer in one of my tonsils which was at a stage 4. He pulled a team together form him operating to getting me the best Radiation and Chemo Doctors in Bay Count. Owe him my life -- Also I may add in the Grace of God !!!!!! Which led him and his hands.. He did a neck dissection, 135 staples very limited scaring, also removed tonsil and other parts infected. God bless Him ! -- Cancer Free Now

Left after 2 hours after appointment time and not seen. Won't reschedule. Going else where.

After visiting his office 3 times in the last 4 months & waiting easily for 50 minutes each visit I finally received a $450 (after my Blue Cross Insurance paid for half) bill from his office. After discussing my bill with his staff nothing has been fixed not did anyone even try to fix or help me. Dr. Tran is not a trustworthy, I will never visit him again or recommend him to anyone.

I'm Claylee and I think that Dr.Tran is one of the best doctors I know! He is very inspirational and my mom works with him and talks about him all the time! He let's me watch his surgeries on other patients when I am at work with my mom. He is always funny, talkative, but at the same time very serious! All of the surgeries I have seen him Procede have been great! He is fast, gentle, and I can tell he really cares about his patients!! He did my ear! Since my mom works with him I just told him about my ear and he fixed my problem with some baby oil in about 5 minutes!! But I love Dr.Tran!

Dr. Tran was recommended by another our primary care Dr., Dr. Tran is excellent in every area. Great bedside manner, genuine concern and care. He should be a model for other Dr's in PC!

Dr Tran was amazing. Very understanding and made me feel totally at easy with him performing my surgery. Bay Medical Center was also exceptional and caring. After 1st surgery, right lobe of my thyroid, I was diagnosed with cancer (papillary carcinoma). So 6 weeks later we had to do it over again and remove the other side.Excellent instructions, no complications, quick recovery.I feel very blessed to have had such a great Dr.

First visit waited 40 minutes for 5 minutes with Dr. Tran. He said I needed surgery. Next visit (pre-opt), another 35 minute wait for 5 minutes with only the nurse to give me papers to fill out for the surgery. Can't understand why I had to wait that long for someone to hand me papers and tell me to ask any questions of the doctor on the day of the surgery. Third visit, the surgery, 1 hour 50 minute wait before I left after pulling off wires and getting dressed when the second janitor came through to empty the trash. Dr. said it was because the appt. before me ran long. They didn't even take that patient into surgery until I an hour after my appt. time. Very unprofessional. They had wanted me to sign paperwork saying the Dr. had answered all my questions before the surgery and twice I told them not until I at least saw the doctor. He had only given me a pamphlet on the surgery at the first visit. This may have been trivial to the doctor, but laying there with anesthetic up my… nose in a gown with the place closing down for the day I felt like a hunk of unimportant meat. Very poorly run operation and not what you want for any operation.
