Dr. Que Tranvan, MD

I had Dr. TranVan for both my pregnancies, and my youngest is now 4 years old. She was the most amazing OBGYN I've ever had, and I still can't find an OBGYN like her. She was very stern with me during my pregnancy, but her sternness came from a place of love. She really informed me with any compilations that may arise, and she had various plans/ solutions to overcome any issues that could have come up. Anytime I felt like something was wrong during my pregnancy; she would fit me in the schedule or she would contact me personally to answer all my concerns. I wish I could have her still as my OBGYN, or someone just like her.

Love this Doctor hard to find exactly like her. She delivered 3 of my children

She was so nice, given my spouse was also Asian. Then she showed us blood on a swab and said we need to bring her $500 immediately for an abortion. We were horrified. Thank God we went to another obgyn and our daughter is now over 20 years old and in perfect health. What a nightmare. It's horrifying Dr. Tranvan is still in Houston. She should have been pushed out of St. Joseph long ago.

I have all my kids with her

This woman delivered my first son via Csection many years ago. I was young and vulnerable and contacted an adoption agency but was very on the fence about going through with it. This woman and the baby brokers she works with had me isolated when I went into labor, convinced me I needed a C section, the horrific pediatric nurses refused to let me see my child (which I literally begged many times to do), the baby broker kept calling me telling me I needed to sign documents to relinquish rights to desperate entitled adopters who were foaming at the mouth for my child and I signed relinquishment documents still drugged from a morphine drip in my arm. Low and behold, as soon as the documents were signed days later I was kicked to the curb. One of the most horrendous experiences in my life that has scared me forever. Losing my first born child this way nearly destroyed me. Whatever you do, stay away from this horrific doctor.

DR. TRANVAN LET ME SUFFER FOR 23 HOURS IN LABOR. WHEN SON WAS BORN HE WAS NOT BREATHING. THE ROOM WAS NOT EQUIPMENT WITH PEDI MASK . HE IS HEARING IMPAIRED, MENTAL CHALLENGE, CEREBRAL PALSY. IT HAS CHANGE MY LIFE. HE IS TOTAL DEPENDENT ON ME. PLEASE BE CAREFUL. SHE IS VERY RUDE. BLESS THE ONES KIDS ARE ALRIGHT. PLEASE BEWARE.

Dr. Tranvan delivered all four of my children. She's a very good doctor who understands medicine. She's just no holds barred. She tells the truth about your weight, health, and issues. Many may not like her straight forward approach, but that's her. She was also a teaching doctor, so many times she would not immediately be available to see me because she would have to run and deliver a baby or tend to some other emergency. I chose her because she was competent, respected my wishes before and after deliver and knew exactly what to do during all of my pregnancies.

She is bad and rude, I am 33 and she told me I was old to have kids. And she was 2 hours late.

Dr. Tranvan is mediocre, at best. However, the worst problem about her office is the unhelpful and rude receptionist and staff members. They do not care about their patients at all...I was repeatedly put on hold for long periods and then hung up on. Avoid this doctor and her office if at all possible, unless you like being helped by rude, lazy, and uncaring people.

Dr. Tran Van is an awesome doctor! She delivered my sister 23 years ago and was, until recently, our Obgyn. However, her office is the most unprofessional doctor's office I've ever been in (having worked in a few) and her front office is the reason for my sister and I switching doctors. We have been seeing Dr. Tran Van for all of our adult lives, but we are now completely fed up. If you have the patients to deal with the attitudes of her front office then it will be worth it, because the doc herself is awesome.
