Tends to be rude and uncaring. Once forgot that he had been treating me for a condition after I'd been seeing him for over 5 years for it. Didn't know I had certain diagnosis until I read my records because he neglected to let me know. Once told me I had a particular condition and then told me I never had it.

There was no follow up and my doctor was shocked since my test were not normal.

My appointment for routine endoscopy ended in emergency surgery the day following my procedure. Everyone in this office from intake staff to billing department have been rude and really don't appear to care about the patient.

I just cant believe someone like him is allow to practice in the medical field when all he cares about is the dollar sign, I came to the hospital with pain in my lower stomach and it was like the fourth time I hade this bad pain and it happened before after taking a Tylenol on an empty stomach and that was exactly the same reason a went to Saint Elizabeth hospital , well they did all that so called procedure to get me in at the emergency room and then to another room in the hospital , and that's when I met this Dr RJ SORREL, my problem started in Lexington NE so they did all kinds of test and couldn't see anything I came to Lincoln next day and went to hospital , after doing the same freaking test they did in Lexington this doctor came up with the idea that it was the gallbladder and that it need it to be removed immediately, no other option cuz my pain was still there really bad and if that thing would burst then we could be talking funeral , so here comes people after people all… through the day taking blood , IV all those things and he told me the surgery is next day, I was freaking out cuz just recently started working in this company so I didn't have health insurance yet , so when one of his assistance came I told him that I didn't have insurance and I was afraid of getting a huge bill and not being able to pay it , so next day here comes this so called doctor to tell me that the surgery could wait , yeah that's fine we can wait up to a year he said ( those where his exact words) after scaring the crap out of me the day before all of the sudden it was find to wait, so he left I was in shock and then he comes someone from his office again to tell me the doctor wanted to have a look inside and to get me ready , well im not a doctor so I said ok, long story short , I got out of the hospital , with all my parts still inside of me, its been about 5 months , no problems at all , im not taking any pills at all , eating anything I want no gallbladder problems whatsoever , the only problem after those visit at the hospital are $8300 bill to hospital in Lincoln, $3700 to hospital in Lexington ne, $1000 to emergency room at hospital (just for taking my name address and information about my symptoms) double charge on all the test they did from Lincoln and Lexington coming from the same company to the same person so I got hit twice from the same bill that run the test with the same company !!! but the part that comes to this dr SORREL is that he sent me a bill for $3700 including the (we need to take a look inside of you test) for $1400 and the ( we removed a stone bill ) for $1600!!! Yes im paying all those bills im struggling but im paying them , im a father of six kids four living with me , 39 years old roofing guy here. but is so sick how this kind of person take advantage of any individual that walks inside those doors and comes to them trying to get heal but it only gets temporary relieved and then you get so sick of looking how much money they want from you for doing nothing and lying rite to your face. I know things could have been different if I had insurance , I wouldn't be here writing this review , I would be going on with my life cuz the insurance would've paid for all of this BUT I would be without my gallbladder watching what I eat WHEN THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT !! so something for you people out there to think about !!!

Dr. Sorrell really took good care of me. I was at hospital visiting when I went to bathroom and started throwing up mucus. Dr. Sorrell was able to get me taken care of very quickly and explained everything to me in a very thorough way. He was very professional, and I would recommend him in a second.

There seems to be a lot of arrogance within this whole group when it comes to try and scheduling an appointment to see them. Just be prepared because when you question them, they cannot handle this and seem to come unraveled that you would question the KING!!! What they need is competition in this town and the arrogance would be gone!!!

Dr. Sorrell is a very good doctor in that he is very knowledgeable but he doesn't share a lot of information with his patient ( I usually speak to his nurse if I need to know something). He is always rushed but you have quite a wait time to see him.You can't get an appointment quickly since he is very booked up and he is always in a hurry which makes me worry that patients are really getting the care needed His great knowledge doesn't make him the best doctor because he is so busy.
