Dr. Rachael Lynn Gates, MD

Worst Doctor I've ever had. She stares at her computer when your in office and doesnt listen. She answered my question on telehealth with a complete wrong answer with out looking at my files. Also gives you 3 month supply on new drugs, was allergic. Fired her.

Dr. Gates replaced my doctor of 25 years so she had big shoes to fill and she has been very thorough and let me work through my medical needs and reach my goals. So I find her excellent.

I have never had a bad experience at her west allis location where I am a patient at. Flo and Rebecca are outstanding and always answer any and all questions. I have needed to get squeezed in on several occasions to see dr racheal and have never had a problem getting in when I need to. I appreciate how she explains things to me and when I passed out while getting shots racheal AND the staff there were AMAZING caring for me. I would recommend the west allis office to anyone and everyone!!! Ps I have NEVER had an issue with lack of hand washing, dr racheal washes her hands every time before examine me and after. And I have NEVER seen a filthy office.....and the only time I have ever had a problem with a prescription was related to my insurgence and not the doctor.

Communication is very poor. They do not answer the phone and do not return calls. Dr. Wiederhold does not know how to write prescriptions accurately. She does not was her hands, & the office is filthy. They do not label specimens in front of you, which is unsafe. She has made errors that caused repeat tests over & over again.

Rachel's office staff seems incompetent, and they have horrible customer service skills. They are impossible to get a hold of via telephone. The office is dirty, and the staff does not wash their hands. As others have mentioned, you get your bill, but never hear about your test results. Dr. Weiderhold does not even write prescriptions correctly, so pharmacists will not fill them. She does not keep a record of what prescriptions she has written for you in the past. They do not return phone calls. They do not know why you are there for a visit. Very unhappy.

She sits on the laptop computer on web-md website trying to figure out what's wrong with you . She doesn't even know what gout on the foot is . She won't refill your precription unless you see her every month. She out-sources all the billing to delefield and they out-sources it to even another company. They are only open a few hours a day , sometimes till 12 noon only. She charges $140. For a office visit . Health insurance company says only $88. Is a avarage fair price.

The Rachael and her staff are rude and give horrible customer service. I see others have had the same problem I have had. I have requested my medical records be sent to a 3rd party over 6 times now, everytime I call in they say they have been mailed and "we dont know what happened ".. I call again and ask to have them faxed, or mailed again and they say we will look into it and call back.. Never once have I recieved a call back.. I have offered to pay for them, pay for the paper/ink.. Why wont they release my records, are they trying to hide something, are they completing the charts/records . I dont know becuase they will not send my records. I am filing a complaing with the family practice board any day now if this does not get resolved.-- Horrible customer service.

I have called Dr. Weiderholds office 3 times this month and I still have no answers about my test results, however, I did receive the eob for my bill.
