Dr. Rachael A Marcantonio, DO

Dr. Marcantonio is very nice, and I feel very comfortable with her.

Dr Marcantonio has been wonderful with my family. She was the Dr. who diagnosed my husband with a rare disease after going to many different doctors for years. She save his life. She also is very caring and non-judgmental. I feel I can ask her ANYTHING. She is also very flexible and accommodating easy to get an appointment with. She's the best in the practice.

I came on this website to see the evaluations of Family Medical and Dr. Marcantonio. To my extreme surprise I was very upset with what I read. I have been a patient of Dr. Marcantonio's for at least five years, and since they brought the new office manager Katie in The staff there represent the management and I have never been there when I haven,t been greeted with a smile and treated professionally. I have no idea what others are talking about-to my dismay I find this cannot be the same Family Medical that I visit. I have been to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, several plastic surgeons,skin doctors, eye doctors hearing doctors &other primary care doctors who have never made me feel as comfortable as Dr MarcantonioOur doctor-patient relationship is second to none. We have talked about everything,which is a new experience in itself for me. I find it very hard to trust others but she has earned my trust. A short time ago on a Friday afternoon she prescribed a new medication for me. She… told me "I want to hear from you on Monday I said I do not like calling you on your family time "(it was Labor Day) and she said call me on Monday. I called on Monday & we talk things were going well & then she had a staff member call me on Wednesday and again on Friday to make sure things where still going well. This particular doctor things of her patients more then she things about herself. Someone once wrote on this website that you're treated like family there and I agree 100% I have recommend Dr. Marcantonio and will continuseto do so

I was a patient of Dr Marcantonio for three + years,having been diagnosed by my psychiatric who retired, Dr Marcantonio kept me on my anxiety medications, clonazepam, & ADHD medication. The whole time I was there never did she do vitals or suggest any tests at my age I need these, she one day did a fast taper, unsafe off Clonazepam having been on for 20 years, I finally left she is a writing Dr and now she's no longer able to prescribe controlled Substances, but didn't think of the withdrawal I went through, thank God I found a wonderful Behavioral health center,Dr.Marcantonio could have offered me this type of place, but the patients have to look themselves! My new psychiatrist is appalled at what Dr Marcantonio did, she is not clear with dropping a patient dose without looking at the symptoms that I or any one else would end up with. Do I recommend Dr Marcantonio, NO and I'm speaking on behalf of others who I've spoken to who also got an unfair pcp who doesn't care about you at all,… she just is looking for patients to like her! Results of her actions she can't write anything until her name is cleared from investigation being done on her.

I find Dr M very patient and informative She is very easy to talk to and she listens to me.

So lucky to have her as my Dr., she is a wonderful Dr and person!!.

overall I feel I receive good medical care. I think there is a tendency to rely on the patient portal for patients to get information, but I spend most of my time away from the computer, and I don't always get feedback, but a quick phone call takes care of it.

Great doctor with a great bedside manner. Very attentive to my children whenever we bring them in sick.

I have used this office and my daughter is a patient here for about 2 years. It is a nice family atmosphere and the doctor is always personable and friendly. She respects my lean toward conservative use of medications and supports my choice to use other alternative means before resorting to medication or surgery. I have dealt with the nurse practitioner a few times too and she is very complete and caring as well. I have been happy with the care I received here and I feel bad that some one chose to write multiple bad reviews last year for her because they were angry. That really was not fair. I understand that everyone is entitled to their opinion, to voice it once is fair enough, but to write 4 reviews all in a row is quite abusive and bullying. It is unfortunate that now days patients can bully the doctor online in a manner such as this. Dr. Marcantonio is a sweet lady and does not deserve that. I am sure if the person would have voiced the opinion about the charge to them again… and gone though a few more channels directly with the office they would have been sympathetic to the situation and worked something out. Having a business in todays small business atmosphere myself I understand the stress of dealing with the public and can sympathize. I am sure that review was deeply hurtful to Dr. Marcantonio and I feel bad for her. She and her office staff do not deserve that.
