Dr. Rachael Heather Phelps, MD

I saw her for a pregnancy terminations. Not only did she not screen for coercion (I was a teenager forced to do this), she was cold, uncaring, and as it turns out, a complete hack of a doctor. She scarred my uterus so bad that I got placenta increta with my son. Now I can't have anymore kids and nearly died. Thanks doc.

I saw Dr. Phelps after my first attempt at getting fitted with an IUD was unsuccesful. Dr. Phelps was extremely friendly and personable. I felt at ease throughout the entire procedure (which says a lot in and of itself, since it just isn't a pleasant process no matter how you look at it). After meeting with her, I was extremely confident that I was in good hands. She was able to complete the procedure on her first attempt and I even got to see my IUD on an ultrasound. I really had no idea what I was looking at, even after she kindly took the time to explain the mess of white, grey, and black splotches that I was intensly trying to make heads or tails of, but I was thrilled nonetheless :D. I'm one day in from my procedure and I feel great. If Dr. Phelps has her own practice outside of Planned Parenthood, or takes on patients at PP (I'm really not sure how that works), I would in a heartbeat want her as my own personal doctor. She truly is a gift!
