Dr. Rachel Elizabeth Agustines, MD

Dr. Agustines is an excellent doctor. She is very caring, knowledgeable and is a great listener! She has helped our family so much with anxiety and depression.

This is an extremely ignorant and unprofessional doctor. She's very argumentative and has the worst communication skills. Listens poorly and speaks poorly. Her condescending and superior attitude is so unpleasant and stressful to deal with. I think she must of had a very poor education to be treating patients this way. I was very patient and tolerant with her thinking that possibly she had her own problems , but Ive run out of understanding for this very rude, mean and argumentative doctor.

I saw Dr. Agustines and she was very short did not seem that she was actually concerned with what you were saying. I did schedule with her a 2nd time thinking that maybe she was just having a bad day and was preoccupied, but when I arrived for my next appt. I was left waiting for over an hour and then told she could not see me because she was running behind. I called for several weeks trying to schedule another appointment and was not able to get through to anyone the phone was always busy and when I was able to leave a message no one returned my call. My pharmacy has also tried reaching this office via phone and fax with no response. I contacted the Tampa office and was actually able to speak with someone and was told that I was being terminated as a patient because of not showing to appointments. How are you supposed to show to appoints you do not have?

Very kind, professional, knowledgeable and approachable.

Cares in detail about patients. Does an overall review each visit. Watches the medications closely. Sincere person.

Dr. Agustines is a great Dr. Very caring and works with you

I saw her three times and can tell you that she is a non caring person. A non listener and I just felt she had a superior attitude. If you are looking for a person that has feelings don't go to her.

I have been seeing her for 3 years. Over that time I have had 3 times that it took over 4 days for Brian her staff to get back to me with any kind of help. I am bipolar and sometimes I need help faster than that. She did not act like she wanted any input from my husband. I do feel rushed in her office. Blank response when talking to her, just feel like a body to her. Think I will look for another Dr. Called my insurance the said this is not the first report of this, or second or third. That tells you something

The staff was great as far as scheduling my appointments. The office is clean and orderly from what I remember. Dr. Augustines did her job in finding me a medicine that worked for me, but I did not feel like she really saw me as a person. She just saw a bunch of symptoms and then assigned a medication. I realize that she technically is not a counselor and it is not her job to sit and talk to me for hours. I also must admit that the medication DID WORK very well for my depression. She's intelligent and great at diagnosing. I just felt like she didn't really connect with me. I stopped seeing her also because I felt afraid to tell her certain things about myself. She can come across as a bit judgemental and it didn't seem right for me to be afraid to tell my doctor something that could help me and my treatment. Let me stress this again. She is great at her job as a psychiatrist when it comes down to it. I just believe that she may need to work on connecting with her patients so that… they feel more comfortable with her and want to stay in her care.

I think Dr. Agustines is an extremely considerate, professional doctor. On the first visit she listens carefully. Great bedside manner. She always knows how I'm doing and where my med's are from the last visit. My next visit is always booked at check out time. Awesome Physian and staff.
