I had several appointments with Nurse Practitioner Rachel Ballantyne, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. While she was generally professional, I felt that important aspects of my care were overlooked, particularly regarding the gestational age discrepancy in my miscarriage. Despite multiple visits, neither she nor Dr. Pinkus communicated that my baby had passed at 9 weeks, not 11 weeks, which was crucial information for my future pregnancies. This lack of transparency and failure to address my concerns left me feeling unsupported. Additionally, as I was under the impression that Dr. Pinkus was my OB, I was surprised to find that Nurse Practitioner Ballantyne was primarily responsible for my care. While Nurse Practitioners can provide valuable care, this situation felt misleading, especially when serious issues arose. Overall, I would urge women to be proactive in seeking clear communication and to advocate for themselves when seeing this practice.
