Dr. Rachel Lucile Gibbs

She was the best doctor ever and I would send anyone to her she has done both of my surgery and I came out fine and she makes sure her patient are good so thanks for being the best female doctor around Dr gibbs

Doctor Gibbs ignored my concerns pushed me to be done healing after 1 WEEK removed staples to early which landed me in the hospital not even 12 hours after my post op appointment due To my incision busting open and because she didn’t even look at my incisions and released me with no restrictions. She also ignored the fact I told her I didn’t feel right during post op and the fact that my incision wasn’t healed all the way and you could clearly see it. She told the ER when they contacted her about me to basically do nothing even though my blood work showed elevated levels which could indicate infection no antibiotics for an open deep wound. She didn’t follow up or want to see me. I had to beg to be seen and she was rude and didn’t listen. All three incisions had infection and finally got antibiotics on Thursday but should have had them on Tuesday at 3am. I ended up running a fever and feeling awful since ER visit no blood work has been preformed to make sure no sepsis is present. Told… her my symptoms Nausea Fever Chills severe Abdominal pain and back pain pooping mucus not feeling right open incision puss coming from incisions and blood and she acted like I was a nuisance. Told me basically I was faking and didn’t need any pain medication but ibuprofen and my birth control. Needless to say Dr. Rachel Gibbs is not the surgeon you want to use if you have an issue after surgery or want any sort of bedside manner or your surgery done right.

Do your research on this doctor! This woman will tell the healthiest person they need surgery. I was having pain in lower abdomen and she long story short she told me I needed a hysterectomy. I was never given any other option . Later to find out medicine could reduce the size of cyst. I work next door to her and went to her out of convenience. Every girl I work with that has gone to her has been told they need surgery and really hasn’t. This hysterectomy has ruined my life ! I can’t lose weight . I have to be on hrt the rest of my life . No sex drive and tired all the time

I have had issues for years and Dr. Gibbs was the ob/gyn who was able to diagnose me with endometriosis. She was great about informing me of my treatment options and letting me decide how I wanted to proceed. She is straightforward and respectful of your time. I never have to wait a long time when I am at her office and her staff are very friendly and helpful. I know other patients that she has treated for endometriosis and all of them have nothing but positive things to say.

I SEEN THE P.A. INSTEAD OF DR. GIBBS. THEY HAVE TAKEN ME OFF OF MY HOT FLASH MEDICINE, AND EVERY HOUR or HOUR & A HALF I HAVE A HOT FLASH, SO THERE FOR I NEVER RECEIVE A FULL NIGHTS UNINTERRUPTED SLEEP. I WAS GIVEN GABAPENTIN, WHICH HAS MAKES ME DIZZY AND RUN INTO WALLS, WHEN GETTING UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT TO GO STAND IN FRONT OF MY STAND ALONE FAN.

Dr Gibbs is wonderful!! She is helping when the other dr i went to wouldn't even listen to me when i told him something was wrong.. Dr Gibbs went above and beyond to help me and find out what was wrong with me and she nailed it.. I am waiting for my insurance to approve my hystroectomy.. Jennifer at dr gibbs office has been amazing helping me with my insurance company.. I am so glad a changed doctors.. Dr Gibbs and her office staff have been great...

She was a very kind and sweet woman. I was astonished at how kind she was after reading some horrible reviews about her being cold and short with patients. I can't fathom how they got that impression with what I saw. She was very intelligent. I have a messy medical record with a lot of different issues going on and she was knowledgeable with a lot of the rare things I had been diagnosed with and she also asked great questions to further understand my specific issues. Although I am only 24 I have always had cycle issues and they have gotten worse within the past few months. She was very considerate of my concerns and she made me feel heard. Although I'm sure she knew where the conversation was headed (possible hysterectomy) she seemed to wait for cues from me about my concerns and my wishes before she went on to suggest hysterectomy. My husband and I had already decided not to have biological kids but she waited till I said it without her even asking to bring up a hysterectomy. She was… in no way pushy and was very honest about all my treatment options. She reassured me she still wanted to run some tests and that would give me time to think about what next step I want. I left with overwhelming relief that I felt heard and supported. That's a difficult thing to do when talking about something not only medical but so personal and emotional. I would highly recommend her!

I have suffered for several years with gyn problems. I feel like I've finally found a good Doctor in Dr. Rachel Gibbs. Her staff was also very professional. She has helped me more in one visit than the previous 5 doctors I've seen in the last 15 years. She had a great bedside manner. The office staff was also great. Very prompt with getting back to me on test results. I feel like they all cared a lot for me. I would definitely recommend her to other members of my family.

This office is a joke! they have the worst customer service ever! they are absolutely the toughest office to reach by phone and everytime you call they put you on hold for at least 30 minutes! TERRIBLE SERVICE!

surgery on bladders are to be done by urologists -rectecele by a proctologist .if problems arise these specialist know what to do
