Dr. Rachel Anne Ruotolo, MD

My former care coordinator had helped me find Dr. Ruotolo and I'm so glad I chose to make an appointment. The office is quite peaceful and the staff are affable. And Dr. Ruotolo... she's AMAZING! I had a keloid on my ear that not only was constantly itchy and painful, but lowered my confidence. I was extremely nervous about the removal, especially the reconstruction, but she did so well that people who at one point would always mention my keloid, don't remember me having one. Dr. Ruotolo is very down to earth. She is compassionate. She is full of love, hope, and light. She has such a bubbly personality that if you walk in with a bad mood, you end up walking out in a better mood. In the short time that I've known her, she has given me hope in so many areas of life. Her dedication to her patients, her comfort she leaves with her patients, her ability to still smile and persevere especially during a time of struggle is inspiring. You can see how much she loves what she does. She is a… reminder that when you love what you do, it's like you've never worked a day in your life. I absolutely admire Dr. Ruotolo. Dr. Ruotolo isn't just a surgeon, but a doctor for the soul. She truly is a blessing and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Rotuolo is truly the best. Her compassion and understanding goes beyond...her expertise is remarkable. I was searching for answers. I was a mother who wanted the best for her son. I found it. Dr. Rotuolo is completely humble and takes her time to explain and reassure you. Her staff is wonderful as well. I would send anyone to her without a doubt. I could never thank her enough.

Dr Rutolo gives each patient undivided attention and truly cares about each one. Everyone in her office staff is also great! Her work is seriously the best- just look at her Instagram!! She’s amazing and we are so lucky to have found her!

Dr. Ruotolo and her team are all absolutely amazing. My 5 week old son needed a procedure that required weekly follow up appointments, Dr. Ruotolo made my son feel very comfortable and never rushed her time with him. Dr. Ruotolo is excellent with babies and was very patient with all the question I had for her. My son looks amazing after his procedure and we are so grateful that Dr. Ruotolo was his doctor. Dr. Ruotolo is an excellent surgeon and she made me feel like my son was the was the most important patient to her at the time of his appointments.

Dr. Ruotolo helped me turn the traumatic experience of breaking my jaw into a tolerable one. In the Emergency Room I was very scared obviously for my own health but also out of fear of looking significantly different than before my injury. Dr. Ruotolo is a very patient and charismatic surgeon who does some truly mesmerizing work. After getting my jaw reconstructed, I had a few follow up appointments up to a year after my procedure. Dr. Ruotolo followed up to reassess and assure that I was on track for a successful recovery. Her office is very comfortable with a short wait that's accompanied with comfortable seating and refreshments. Her staff is very welcoming and informative as well. Dr. Ruotolo played a confirming role in inspiring me to become a physician myself, and I've been given the pleasure to see some of her other work at research conferences across Long Island. Reconstructing my jaw seems like a walk in the park compared to the other types of procedures that she has done, and… I look forward to seeing her passions flourish in the field of Medicine for years to come as I truly feel privileged to have received her care.

I am a mom with a child who was born with multiple differences. These differences would have effected many aspects of his life. I was lucky to find a dr who is exceptionally well at explaining my child's conditions and set a safe treatment plan. I would always leave the office knowledgeable and confident. When the day would come for my child's surgery, I was giving my child to someone with loving hands. Dr Ruotollo is a perfectionist at best! Her staff are always professional and helpful!

Our daughter was born with a soft cleft palate and when I researched doctors I was very pleased with Dr. Rutolo's credentials. I had been to other doctors and Dr. Rutuolo by far was the most compassionate and put our minds at ease. As well as explaining every detail of surgery and what to expect afterwards. Very warm and kind doctor. She had the surgery at nine months of age and did really well. Dr. Rutuolo stayed with us the whole time in hospital and made sure she was doing well. She had the surgery in 2011 and is doing great ever since. We couldn't be happier through this whole difficult experience. We would highly recommend this doctor. We certainly would use her again. In reference to other review complaining about wait time. The wait time in her office is well worth it. When you have a great doctor with a lot of patients it's to be expected! Thank you Doctor Rutolo for everything, truly an amazing doctor !!!

She is wonderful caring, professional,and very knowledgeable. I'm so glad my son was her patientHer bedside matter and undivided attention was also a plus. I would absolutely refer or call her again if needed

We can not thank Dr. Ruotolo and her staff enough for the excellent care she gave to my 1 year old daughter. My daughter was born with "Cutis Aplasia," her skull and scalp did not fuse closed. She had a thin layer of tissue on the top of her head, called the dura layer, and underneath the dura layer of tissue was her brain. My daughter was in the NICU post delivery and immediately Dr. Ruotolo diagnosed her condition. Dr. Ruotolo was kind and extremely patient with us. At 1 year old, Dr. Ruotolo surgically implanted tissue expanders in my daughter's head. For 3 months, she inflated the tissue expanders and stretched her scalp. The 2nd and last surgery, Dr. Ruotolo surgically closed the area. I won't lie, it was a tough couple of months, but with Dr. Ruotolo and her staff, they helped us through it. Dr. Ruotolo is an excellent surgeon, she came highly recommended. We are so grateful to Dr. Ruotolo. My daughter is doing excellent.
