just nowNEW I made an appointment with this Dr Rachel Schultz, only so that I could get my yearly mammogram. Otherwise, I do not have a primary care physician, and the mammogram office said I need one in order to get my results. I then called my insurance company and verified that this provider was in my network, and she was. It would be considered my annual wellness exam which was 100% covered. When I met with this doctor, I even told her why I was there. I let her know that I had no health problems, but I needed to establish a primary care physician in order to get my mammogram results. I even told her to please make sure she would not code my bill with anything other than my yearly exam, and she agreed. However, she did not code it that way, and I was charged almost $300 for my visit! I have gone round and round with billing to try to fix this, to no avail. I have excellent credit and I’m always on time with every payment. But I refused to pay for this bill, as she did not code my… visit correctly. I would never return to see her, or recommend her based on this. I am so upset by this.
