Dr. Rachel Sheiman is an accomplished pediatrician who focuses on curing illnesses as well as getting to know her patients. Dr. Rachel graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY with a Bachelor of Arts in 1992. She continued her education at Loyola University Chicago Medical School where she received her M.D. in 1996. She completed her residency at Uconns Connecticut Childrens Medical Center in Hartford, CT in 1999. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and worked with New England Pediatrics in Stamford and New Canaan from 1999-2006. Dr. Rachel joined Canterbury Pediatrics in 2006 and has been a beneficial addition ever since. As a mother of two, she has a true understanding of the meaning of parenthood as well as how to relate to children on their level. Dr. Rachels enthusiasm as a pediatrician is reflected in the excellent care she provides to her patients.
