Rachel Solomon, MD

I am 80yrs old. After 10-15 years of being a patient of Dr. Solomon she dropped me as a patient. The reason? On Jan. 6th of this year I had an appointment with her. I was 10-15 minutes late. The diarrhea I had had since the end of February 2025 (I slowly got better starting in Aug.) returned full force Jan. 2, 2026. I was 15 minutes late because I had a bout of diarrhea just as I was ready to leave the house. It took about 25 minutes to get cleaned up. I was told I would have to reschedule. I told the receptionist that it was urgent that I see Dr. Solomon. They never asked what was so urgent. Since there were people near me I didn’t want to blurt out my problem. The receptionist again advised me that I would have to make a new appointment. At that time, I was holding the sign-in sheet. Using only my thumb and forefinger I gently ( I was too weak for anything but gentle; I have NEVER thrown anything at anyone EVER! I am a retired Operating Room RN (38yrs). But, I was accused of throwing… the sign in sheet at the receptionist! I tried to speak with Dr. Solomon; but she refused. In February I was admitted to the hospital for 3 days;and then to a rehab center for 9 days.

Can be very rude.

Dr. Solomon is very compassionate and talks with her patients, not down to them. She is very knowledgeable but knows when to send a patient to a specialist.

If you are a smoker, dont bother seeing her. She will treat you like a dead man walking.

Dr Solomon is an outstanding doctor, best my husband and I have ever had. Very thorough, courteous and caring. I would highly recommend her. Staff is also efficient and courteous. Happy we found her.

Dr. Solomon talks with you, not down to you. She knows her business very well and I feel like we are collaborators in my healthcare. She is very caring. I have recommended her to many people.

Dr. Solomon keeps up with the latest new information, best techniques, and just-released meds. I struggle with pain and obesity. She is just the right amount of tough, encouraging me to continue to keep moving and losing weight. She is my primary support in my struggle, and I feel so blessed to have her as my doctor. I highly recommend her.
