Radha Andukuri, MD

Dr. Andukuri is not responsive to her patients. On multiple occasions we have had to wait over 48 hours before receiving a response to our concerns. We are new to treating type 1 diabetes and felt like our case or concerns were not important to this office and physician.

Dr. Andukuri is probably the most unprofessional Dr. I have ever met. I had to beg to get in to see a specialist for a second opinion because all of my symptoms leaded to me having thyroid issues. My primary Dr. even said I have a large thyroid. Once I was in the room she finally came in and asked me what my symptoms were for the appointment. I told her fatigue all the time, hair loss, difficulty loosing weight, and low energy all the time. She proceeded to say hmm the entire time I was telling her my issues. She then felt my neck said my thyroid was not large and it was fine. Then asked me if my parents were large. I told her no she then asked me if I had stretch marks on my stomach. Not sure what this has to do with my thyroid but I told her yes and she asked to see my stomach. After her looking at my stomach she proceeded to tell me this was taken on by personal weight gain and it has nothing to do with my thyroid that I needed to exercise and diet. Then proceeded to give me a… number for the Nebraska Medicine for their diet program. Then proceeded to give me test strips to take home to check some levels but then said oh well your on birth control the levels will probably come back inconclusive but still made me take them. No blood work or labs were drawn nothing but they expect me to pay almost $400.00 for not even a hour being there. I am appalled at the service that I experienced with Methodist. I will NOT recommend this Dr. to anyone.

Rude and arrogant are the two best words that I have to describe this woman. Asked me if she wanted me to have her prescribe "Happy Pills" when O was trying to get some answers and solutions to my hormone imbalance issues. Condescending does not even come close to the way she spoke to me. Prescribed meds that I didn't even need. RUN FOREST RUN !
