Dr. Radha Krishna Upputuri, MD

I saw dr Upputuri when I came in emergently pregnant on my IUD. I was gowned with my feet in the stirrups for IUD removal in a room entirely unprepared and with no instruments. Dr attempted to remove my IUD with his gloved hands (not at all best practice or even considered acceptable. Then when he failed to be able to do so he left me in the room with my feet in the stirrups with the door open to obtain proper medical equipment. He had zero compassion for my fragile emotional state and mistreated me immensely with his lack of competence. Oh also-he misdiagnosed my sister-in-law with a vaginal cyst when it was actually a varicosity which he lanced in the office causing her to hemmorage and require emergency attention resulting in a c-section. STAY AWAY.

Was having major gyne/urological issues. Was in excruciating pain and was seen by numerous physicians. I came across him during a hospitalization at Christ. No seemed to know what was going on. He entered my room sat down and took his time listening to me. He almost immediately diagnosed what clearly everyone missed. Then while attending to me he was so gentle and concerned that I wasn’t in pain. As a L&D nurse myself, I am extremely impressed!

He delivered my third child by c-section and very successfully managed my post-delivery hemorrhage. He listened so well, gave me excellent advice and options, was professional, calm and made me feel confident in his expertise and decisions. I had such a good experience with him that I kept him as my OBGYN

Has no concept of how to emotionally connect with patients - which is a huge issue when you work in ob/gyne: you’re interacting with families struggling with infertility, pregnancy/infant loss, and families facing cancer diagnoses. He should be at a desk doing admin work - not interacting with people

Dr Upputuri listens, is very thorough, professional, asks questions and offers suggestions for treatment and general health. He's an outstanding Dr and I would recommend him to anyone, friends and family. He has helped me so much.

I like this doctor, he's professional, personable and extremely polite. His staff is wonderful. I searched and finally ended up with a gynecoligist that didn't make an akward visit even more weird. He is thorough in his approach and speaks to you in lamens terms.
