Dr. Rafael Crespo, MD

I had the unfortunate experience of being hospitalized at the University of Miami Hospital. I went to this facility believing that doctors on the UM faculty would see me. The dirty little secret regular folks do not know is that the hospitals and insurance companies "contract" with "community-based doctors" to allegedly treat folks on the lower tier health insurance plans. I was extremely ill and abandoned by this doctor for two and-a-half days until I called patient advocacy

I highly recommend Dr. Crespo to anyone that's in need of a great doctor. He is awesome and very professional as well as his staff. He does accurate diagnosis and knows a lot about medicine. Never heard of anyone complaining about him in fact I talk to people in the waiting several times I have been there in 2 years and everyone is older and has nice things to say about him. There's a bit of wait because it's true his an internist and does rounds in the hospital but his very loyal and takes care of all his patients. But it's worth waiting. Thank you!

I highly recommend this doctor. Dr. Crespo is very nice, very professional and listens to each patient to and he's not rushing u out of the room like most doctors. Yes, you do have to wait a while because he does his rounds at 2 different hospitals but it's worth the wait. His staff has been the same staff for over 20 years. He's been my primary doctor for over 20 years and I woold never change him for the world unless he retires. He is a great doctor and very accurate on his Diagnosis. He does blood work on his office no need to go to a lab like Quest since they do blood work and electrocardiogram and x rays. He's office is very set for any of these testa. Mt mom and daughter are new patients now since last year 2015 and love it. I highly recommend him, he's also Bilingual which I like that even though I speak both languages plus 4 more. But yes, u do wait a little but it's worth it. If u have problems in getting a medicine ask for samples, he usually gives out samples if u ask. If u… read this and go there tell him u read my review and I recommend u and u will see that I'm a patient not a Co worker or fake I've been a patient a little over 20 years and love it.

What a joke. This is the nasty doctors office I have ever seen. I was treated like and illegal undocumented person which seems to be the only people that go here. I was referred here by another doctor and will never be going back. My appt was for 1030am I wasn't seen until 2 pm I was skipped 3 times because the other patient was more sick then me. What the heck i was there with cancer. Then when I approached him about it the doctor flipped out. His staff is unknowledgable and doesn't speak English. He claims he is a graduate of UM what a joke.
