Dr. Rafael Dn Vera

I feel like I did not go to the same Dentist as the other reviews state poor stars. He was very thorough and explain me the details of my smile make over and i did not felt rushed. He did show me photos of previous work done and I felt he had enough experience to treat my mouth. i am happy with the results

I'm quite surprised to see negative reviews of Dr. Vera, which is why I felt inclined to leave my own. Dr. Vera is the only dentist I've ever liked, and even though I have moved out of Miami, I still return to have my check-ups with him. He does a thorough exam, including of the head and neck lymph nodes. My favorite thing about him is his philosophy of "not drilling on stained teeth." There have been several times there I've had a borderline area of a tooth that is stained but xrays do not collaborate cavitation. Dr. Vera offers the option of improving my brushing before just immediately filling. I've avoided unnecessary pain and expenses that way. I trust him, and have never felt that he is taking advantage in any way, as some dentists do. If you are going to the dentist and expect to have an entirely pain-free and pleasant experience with scintillating conversation and champagne, then feel free to find someone else, but if you are going to the dentist to have your teeth checked by a… well-qualified professional and not pay an arm and a leg for unnecessary fillings then Dr. Vera is your guy.

Poor bedside manner, doesn't ask how you're feeling after his procedures, very rough, and runs in and out of the room, and is then gone. After he gets you in as a patient, he doesn't care anymore about you, and then leaves you in pain.

Dr. Vera the new dentist at Sage Dental has a horrible bed side manner, he doesn't listen to the patient. I had a filling done on the #9 tooth. The filling came out a week later. Dr. Vera advised me it was just excess material that came off my tooth. Now there is a hole where that "excess material" was. Dr. Vera proceeded to try and show me I was wrong. It was like he just had to be right. I know what I see and I know what I feel. I will seek dental services else where with a dentist who listens and respects the patient.
