I had fallen and fractured my femur. Was operated on the day, the femur was put back in proper alignment. Had very little pain and with postop rehabilitation and i am now walking without a walker or cane. Satisfied with the outcome of my surgery and with Dr. Nashed

I’ve never had a Dr. visit like this in my life! This doctor has absolutely no bedside manner. He was extremely rude and showed no compassion. I can’t believe he’s still in business . I was referred to him from Manatee Memorial Hospital and I do not have any insurance and because of that I was treated like a nobody. I’m still a human being!

I love Dr. Nashed and his Manatee office staff Ricarda, Jessica, and Kimberly they are all very helpful and kind! I first came to Dr. Nashed several months ago for a severe left leg injury. I've been to his office several times since and each time I'm surprised at how much time he himself spends with his patients. He will answer all your questions no problem! He is always very involved and cares. I was casted and then recently had left knee arthroscopy medial femoral chondroplasty and everything about the surgery has gone very well. My care, my healing and all following up! I highly recommend Excel Orthopedics Dr. Nashed and his staff to anyone needing an Ortho doctor who sees almost ALL patients and insurances.

Dr Nashed replaced my right knee. After a few months of therapy knee wouldn't bend past 45 degrees had to walk with a cane. Couldn't walk up stairs , ride a bike ,work or any outdoor life style. Dr Nashead operated again thought it was scary tissue. Therapy again for a couple months. But now was in terrible pain 24 hours a day and knee still wouldn't bend past 45 degrees. I went to a mother Doctor he said pain is from reflex syimpatetic dystrophy it's nurse damage from 2nd surgery and I will have it all my life. The new Dr said it dosent look like knee was put in correctly and also there's something wrong with the mechanism of the knee. I ended losing my job of 16 years. And the new doctor refuses to go to court against Dr Nashead or the pharmaceutical company who made the knee. Since most orthopaedic Dr's just this knee and the manufacture. Stay away from Dr Rafat Nashead. Look at his ratings there around 2.3. Three years later I still can't bend my knee in terrible pain and have to… us my cain. No lifestyle ruined my life.

Not enough space to explain my disdain with this incompetent Doc. Run, don’t walk away from him. Should have been advised to have surgery, but he shrugged his shoulders about my doing so. 2 additional broken bones due to him not advising me correctly. Now I’m 2 weeks behind starting my recovery. Retire, Doc. Your time is up!

Very rude! Does bare minimal for patients with low income. Doesn't seem to know what he's doing.

Dr. is not very thorough and has poor bedside manner. You would think staff would be better but they literally make me want to leave with broken bones to go elsewhere. Definitely needs to hire better receptionist and tend to his patients as if he cared about his work.

I found him kind, helpful and compassionate. Really happy with him and the nurse/staff too

He is a nice, friendly guy. Do not go to him for help, however, because you likely won't get it. Watch his billing and don't get tricked into paying more than co-pay like I did.
