Dr. Rafik Zaki Mansour, MD

Not only was Dr. Mansour condescending, invalidating, and inconsiderate, he was also rough, rushed, and unprofessional. He did not explain procedures before completing them, leaving me to feel vulnerable and dehumanized. He was dismissive of all my comments (in the brief moments I got to speak). Doctors in his position need to do better. I have had many other gynecologists in my life, none made me feel as horrible as he did.

So I’m not one of those people that write reviews usually, though I have started to read more and rely on reviews online over the last few years. I absolutely love Dr. Mansour and felt compelled to write a great review for him so that others can know how professional and pleasant he is and see him too. I’ve been a patient of his for the last three years that started with my annual exam and ironically was also the beginning of my pregnancy with my first child. He is professional he is kind and super knowledgeable. I think he’s really great at what he does and he knows how to give you A degree of autonomy That is safe and appropriate for the situation and for what your body can handle ! I’ve had two completely different childbirthing experiences. And I appreciate both of them in such different ways. His staff is great. He may be a bit old school as I would call him but I think that’s because he’s been doing this for so long and he knows what works and what doesn’t. And I believe that… you can trust what he says as he has your best interest at heart( your child/ your family etc...) , As a nurse and patient, he makes me feel really comfortable( esp as a male provider to a female Patient) and he answers questions candidly. No fluff no nonsense. Who doesn’t like a direct approach? I will continue to see him in the future and will always recommend him to others I know as he was recommended to me by one of my colleagues and I am super grateful for that!

I went to Dr. Rafik Mansour the summer of 2017 and I did not have a great experience. I tried to tell him what I was experiencing and he talked to me as if I did not know what was going on with my own body. I honestly couldn’t tell if he thought I was dumb because I was black, but as a black woman that was the vibe I was getting so if you are a black woman, like me looking for a gynecologist in the Boston, this man is not it. I am convinced he is low key racist and if you don’t believe please look at the low ratings.

all I can say is do not believe the reviews that you read on this doctor. he is very rude, inconsiderate, has attitude, annoyed all the time and ignorant. Even the materials he uses in his office is dirty, never sanitize and disgusting. I have never had a doctor who makes you feel like he does not want you as his patient. and don't dare ask him any questions he will look at you with stupidity with any questions or concerns you may have. I got so annoyed with his ignorance that I had to switch to another doctor at 35 weeks! WORST DOCTOR EVER!!!

He is rude, does NOT answer questions, always acts annoyed. Rushes you out of the office. He actually has an alarm set on his phone and once it goes off, he is up and out of tge room. Office is dated, only has medical assistants. You will never see the nurse. She does the call backs and is also rude and rushed. Front desk staff is horrendous. I am so sad he is my doctor... wish i could switch

Dr Mansaur delivered my five children, including a set of twins. I trust him completely, and I would highly recommend him.

If Dr Mansour is your dr, you are in good hands and very lucky. Period. No pun intended.

Since it is a small office, it is a calmer place. It also makes it easier that the same people are working there from year to year.

I have had a very positive experience so far with Boston Healthcare for Women and Dr. Mansour. He has managed three of my pregnancies and two of my deliveries (I am scheduled to deliver my third baby tomorrow). I had some complications with the first delivery, but had great confidence that I was in good hands throughout the process. The second pregnancy and delivery went smoothly, and I am hoping for the same for the third. Dr. Mansour is always accessible, has several years of experience, and is well regarded. He takes my questions/concerns seriously. When I had issues with fertility, he took a proactive approach that saved us from wasting precious time. I gave his facility a B only because the exam rooms can be cramped and hot at times. I appreciate the location being so close to the hospital, however. I have found his nurse, Ann Marie, to be always available and willing to answer any questions and provide reassurance when needed. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Mansour and… his practice to my friends.

My experience with Dr. Mansour has been fabulous. He's knowledgable and informative and exactly who you'd want to deliver your baby. The office and nurses are extremely accessible and always available for guidance. I've had a wonderful experience with my first labor because of Dr. Mansour and the great people he works with.
